  1. Considering KK got slamed on here for struggling at Monmore, a track he has never taken to, what excuse is there for Jason Doyle at Leicester, a track he called home? Jason Doyle - 1, 2, 3, 1, 1* = 8+1
  2. How on earth can Wolves fans call their own riders a disgrace? A shocking thing to say. They may be out of their depth but I am sure they are trying 100% to do their best for their team. Wolves put together a team this year which are not good enough to challenge for the title. Poor team building has led to a team which is weak at reserve. Don't expect any major changes like last year as Howarth is already upping the team average. No woffy woffy woffy to save the day this time around.
  3. Whats happening there? Please not track issues.
  4. Still not started. If people are still outside its their bad luck. Delaying too long will p off the people inside. Whats it going to be like next week with Poole in town? Open at 4? Hope there's no track issues at Leicester tonight. With a big crowd I hope the night runs smoothly.
  5. It seems a few people on here didn't get my little post. I really didn't think a single person would actually take it seriously. The clue was "recalled to Poland for a testimonial" and "babysitting". Didn't actually think I would have to explain it!
  6. KK isn't inconsistent. He will have an average way above 9 this season. Pretty rock solid for Poole and I wouldn't at all be suprised if he is in the top three of the averages this year. He hates Monmore but every rider has a track they struggle at .Holder hardly set the world alight at Monmore either.
  7. Congrats to Kings Lynn. Got lucky tonight though. If KK hadn't been recalled to Poland for Zorros farewell and Hans wasn't baby sitting, us Poole fans would be celebrating our second trophy in 48 hours.
  8. Fantastic news. It would have been so unfair if he had lost a season. And not bad news for Kerr either. He has 4 weeks to do his absolute best to impress Matt Ford and put himself in the shop window for other clubs who may be looking to make a change.
  9. He provided good racing throughout his career and it is probably a wise move, leaving the sport in one piece. A happy retirement to him.
  10. Yes agree. The comentary has improved and they have now got the graphics sorted. Pepe getting better like a vintage wine. So fast. What an anti climax with Pepe not making the two mins!
  11. So the track is finished and raceable I take it? Has there been a practice on it?
  12. Thought this Gavan bloke had been banned? Who allowed him back? The place was far better with him and his bile nowhere to be seen. Now he is back he is already clogging up the Poole threads with his usual crap. Can't help himself. If a Poole fan spent their time on this forum posting anti Ipswich rhetoric on the Ipswich threads he would be classed as a nutter.
  13. The camerawork is ok, the graphics are shot to bits and the commentary is poor. Sound disappears then slowly comes back. Of course its a live meeting online but Sabmar are far better imo. Mind you compared to what we get in the UK this is Skysports.
  14. Poor commentary and graphics. Wrong order, spelling mistakes. Thought the sport was big in Poland these silly errors would have been avoided. The commentary is banal. Just had a good pass and the guy continued to talk as though he was compiling a grocery list. Did he even notice what was happening on track? And people on here slag off Nigel and Kelvin.
  15. Shanes reminds me of Steve Schofield. A small bulldog of a rider. He needs more rides though and might only get three while Klindt is at reserve. The problem comes when Championship teams come knocking. From what I can gather he has a busy grass and longtrack schedule which involves a lot of continental dates and means he won't be available on a lot of dates. Perhaps after this season he will have to put grasstrack on the back burner and concentrate where the money is.
  16. Lets see how he does against Belle Vue next week with their reserves and the new format. If he scores 4-5 it will be brilliant. We need more young Brits coming through with fighting spirit. Seems the work Neil Vatcher has been doing is starting to pay off.
  17. Seriously? I think Rye are a better team than Wolves and should see them off with relative ease on Saturday. Wolves were completely inept last night. I know Rye is a similare size to Monmore but you should have more faith.
  18. After dispatching Wolves in the ES, next Wednesday brings a much tougher test to Wimborne Road with the Belle Vue Aces in the first round of the Knock Out Cup, with the second leg 48 hours later. Poole will be welcoming Lewis Kerr into the team on a baptism of fire. Belle Vue have put together a good team, but may suffer the same problems which affected Wolves. A pair of youngsters at reserve with zero experience at this level. While they might quickly get dialled in at NSS, both might find the going tough away from home. It could be very close over the two legs. Thoughts?
  19. Twicelast night when he came around for his victory lap he stopped at the start line to get the crowd going. Going to be a fans favourite.
  20. Klindt showed passing ability last night to blast around a few Wolves riders. As for Thorsell, the difference in his riding last night to Monday was chalk and cheese. On Monday he was like a world champion, weaving in and out and passing for fun. Ended up 50 metres clear by the end of the race. Last night, well.......a young lad by the name of James Shanes, who had never ridden a single heat at Wimborne Road before this meeting, outgated and outrode Thorsell to see him off. A complete shock to be honest but shows Thorsell has a lot to learn. Its OK being king of your own back yard but if you want to be classed as a top rider, this should not have happened. Personally, I think Thorsell has a lot more in him and will turn out to be a very good rider in years to come. But he has to work on his away form.
