No big deal in the scheme of things. Poole would have got four points with a number one. Shows Pooles strength and why we will be at the top come playoffs. Garrity abject crap. Never in front of a rider. To only lose by four without a number one shows our strength. Well done to Somerset on their win. They can only beat what they have in front of them and did that. Track was horrendously dusty as shown. If it was a day meeting it could be excused but a cool overcast evening? Sone good races mixed in with from the tapes. Big big crowd with hundreds of Poole fans making the two hour trip. And another point. Garrity going through the tapes in heat one meant he had to come out in heat 14 instead of Klindt who had just git a 5-1 from the back passing Wright.

People critisizing KK and Poole for him not riding are completely wrong. I have found out that once a fascility has been granted it cannot be altered, as the bspa make sure the rider offered the guest spot is honored. Poole could not bring in KK once a fascility had been granted. Last year Nick Morris discovered his meeting had been called off and contacted Somerset to say he could make it to Redcar in time. Garry May contacted the bspa who said no. He musthonor the guest booking. So there you go. Nothing to see here. Move along please. At Somerset and the weather is dry. At the moment. More Poole fans here than Somerset. Hundreds have made the trip. Somerset favourites tonight but hoping for a point.

Not sure if you know but Poole have a fascility in place for KK. Nothing to see here. Please move along. Or is it impossible for the usual Poole haters who have to argue about anything Poole related? Any other club there would not even be a mention of something like this. Poole are so weaker with no KK. Would have gone with r/r myself.

All very easy as expected for Pirates. Somerset no threat this morning. They got a little lucky mid meeting with Morris ef and Hans exclusion. But then Pirates just steppedup a gear and left the rebels for dead. Poole should have had 60. KK would have got a max so Somerset let off a little. Morris dis ok but the ef was a pain. Brady a class above with a last to first in heat 13. Messed up a mac with a completely fluffed start in heat 15. I am sure it will be a lot different tonight with Somerset seeking revenge.

Looking forward to this one should be a good meeting usually is. Adam Ellis had a spin at Eastbourne so might be back for Swindon? Swindon have certainly started well and the fouble over a fancied Rye team certainly was impressive. Goyle has picked ip after a dodgy first couple of weeks and Morris is doing better than expected. The second strings have also chipped in with some good points. Poole without Kerr who is riding at Scunthorpe so r/r for him. Holder, Klindt and Shanes to cover. Think this will be another close meeting between the sides with four points in it either way. Thoughts?

I should think all Poole fans would want KK over Morris today. But if KK was suddenly announced to ride you can bet there would be a few moaning at his inclusion because we are letting down a booked guest, and crying foul because he wasn't in the declared team for these fixtures. Anyway its all pointless as he is not here until Sunday at Swindon.

Weather is good this morning for the first ever league encounter between these two clubs. Should be a good crowd down at the stadium this morning. Poole to win and take the three points is my prediction. Shame that we are not full strength and we will miss KK today, especially tonight in the second meeting though Morris will do his best I am sure. Would have preferred a number one to cover but none available today. We will just have to make do and hope. Lets also hope for 30 heats of good racing and no nasty crashes.

Not arrogance. Knowledge of Morris at Poole compared to KK. Not in the same class at Poole. Normally score 4-6 points a meeting here. An off form KK is worth more than that. KK showed good form at Leicester as well. I hope Morris has a blinder tomorrow. But at the end of the season KK will be near the top of the averages, Morris won't.
-
No he doesn't. KK would go through the card in both meetings. Somerset don't have a number one capable of beating him. Anyone who says Morris strengthens Poole is clearly lacking knowledge or on a windup. Last week the usuals were saying Poole got lucky against a weaker Leicester. Now without our number one, who is replaced by a third heat leader/second string, we are stronger! We can't win with some people whichever way it is. Up the Pirates!

Writing was on the wall for Watt this time last year. He should be in the second division and is living on borrowed time both here and in Poland. He has been a good servant for British speedway. A shame to hear that he is a pale shadow of the rider to do so well for Poole on numerous occasions.
