  1. No comparison between the two. KK a much more aggressive nastier rider when at his best. Last week at Poole it was a masterclass. of brilliance.
  2. Swindon't won't visit again this year unless they see off Belle Vue.
  3. What a crock. Belle Vue v Poole would be one of the meetings of the season. The silly thing is, one of Belle Vue's gold leaf fixtures is being played out on a Monday evening in September, in front of probably a small crowd, when it should have been in mid summer on a Friday night. Bad business that.
  4. The patched up Poole Pirates finish their home regular league season on Wednesday with the visit of Kings Lynn. Rohan Tungate has been drafted in to gues for Hans, but no ideaif Holder and Buk are riding. Kings Lynn are without Iversen. Guest tba. Should be three points to Poole depending on the state of our side. Thoughts?
  5. So has the BV v Poole been removed from the Sky listings? Gutted if it is.
  6. That Gavan bloke in full trolling mode I take it. Making the usual pillock of himself is he? No surprise.
  7. Maybe so but he wasn't riding very well last year due to his best mates injury. A different rider this year and on very good form. Guess we will find out in the playoffs as that result more or less sealed BV for top spot. Unless they fancy taking on Poole or Wolves in the semis I expect us to be back at Monmore shortly, with a stronger team.
  8. Thats fine don't disagree. Nicholls scored what Hans would have got. But we got 5 for Holders rides. Holder is on very good form. We got 0 for Buk, who has done quite well around Monmore for a Pole. End of the day Poole did remarkably well considering we only had one heat leader in guest Nicholls. We were always going to run out of riders to combat the Wolves heat leaders, heat 13 the prime example.
  9. Got a point! Well done lads amazing backs to the wall effort and beyond all expectations.
  10. As I thought we had no riders left at the death. Heat 13 an edr and a guy that has been a worse guest than Fricke. Still, heads high lads even if we don't get a point its a brilliant effort from Middlo and the boys.
  11. Wolverhampton have fallen into the exact same trap as Lakeside. Going into the meeting with an air of superiority, expecting to just turn up and pick up the points. When you consider it is level as I type this, and we have got no points at number five (hans) and only 4 so far from Holders rides, it is quite remarkable. Ellis, Newman, Kurtz and Bjarne have ridden their socks off, well supported by guest Nicholls. Least said about Klindt the better. I still expect us to get rolled in the remaining heats as we have run out of riders, and unbeaten Thorsell and Woffinden are going to be in 14 and 15. But a tremendous effort from the lads.
  12. Wolves 58 Poole 32ish A shame we have three riders out who could have put a practice session in for the playoffs. Sorry for any travelling Poole fans travelling for this. Injuries couldn't have come at a worse time.
  13. Had a perler in heat 15. Got squeezed between Doyle and Pepe and hit the deck hard. Was holding his wrist walking back to the pits. Couldn't challenge in the rerun. Thank god I was not going to this one. A shame asmthe boys could have usedit to practise nd get setups but there won't be anyone left at this rate.
  14. Tungate didn't ride well at Blunsdon on Thursday. Rather have Buk.
  15. Not sure why people are thinking Poole are trying to pull a fast one. Look at the two teams! Lindgren v Holder. Lindgren PK v Ellis. PK Masters v r/r. Thorsell v Kurtz. Thorsell Woffinden v Nicholls. Woffinden Clegg V Bjarne. Bjarne just Howarth v Newman. Howarth. So how is Buk missing going to help us? We are going to be stuffed.
  16. Seriously you made a nasty comment about me for no fathomable reason whatsoever, then throw this tirade at me? Sorry you are bang out of order and I await your apology. You are completely in the wrong here. I don't know Iris, though he has a sensible and different perspective on speedway living outside the UK. The other guy is just an abusive Polish guy who is quiet tonight because his team were thumped. You are way out of order here.
  17. no thank god. Looking at the two teams, Wolves should hit 60.
  18. Rotten luck for Buzz after having the race of the night on Thursday. Glad I am at the other endnof the country. It's going to be a massacre.
  19. No I have a Virgin account. Had a couple of adverts which then switched to the racing. How would I have been able to give instant score updates? It did buffer badly which meant refresh and two adverts every time though.
  20. A much bigger crowd but still a lotof empty seats. Would have thought it a sellout.
  21. Did anyone see standing water on the track? Did the ref and trackstaff have mud on their shoes? Was the track shiny? A case of trying to cover up an abysmal performance.
