Why dont the mc ir bspa make a stand against Matt Ford if he is so bent and crocked? Because no rules have been broken. Why are Poole in the middle of the moans? Because they are the only club to make sure they put themselves in a position of trying to win every time. And as a Poole fan, thank god they do! If there's an opportunity to win, then win! All this spirit of the rules is bollocks. There's no such thing as spirit of the rules. Is it bad to have a win at all costs mentality? Hell no! It's a sport in it to win it. A shame there are not Matt Fords in charge of every EL club. The sport would be so much more healthy. As for tonight, i still think Wolves are favourites to go through with their home track advantage. Lindback and Tungate don't strengthen Poole at all. A shame injuries have yet again blighted our team just when we needed to be at full strength.

Tungate was on standby last week but wasn't required. Lets have some sensibilty here. Spreading malicious lies as fact is just plain wrong imo. -

Entertaining meeting. Ref was poor allowing kk a huge roller right when it mattered. Still, we got Monmore tomorrow to match or better it. -
Poole Sign Lindback

Not sure about Wolves not prevailing. Its on a knife edge and a patch up Poole could get wholloped. True about Matt. Important to win if possible but harder each year. All these people crying foul have to realise no rules have been broken. If they had the changes would not have been allowed. To say Matt has all the others in his back pocket is also pure nonsense. He just plays by the rules available to him the same as ther other riders. Trouble is someones opinion is taken as gospel and if repeated enough times some on here actually start to believe it! -
Matt was over in Sweden for the GP and Zorro's farewell meeting. Zorro a massive favourite with the Poole faithful. Absolute rotten stinking luck with Bjarne. While he is struggling to be quick enough at Poole, it's a different story at Monmore where he is easily fast enough and rides the place pretty well. Did well in the B Fixture. I see the forum has gone into overdrive with the usual anti Poole brigade shouting from the rooftops about Hans, who tweeted it was a mistake and he isn't fit, and now Bjarne taking a knock. Clearly Hans is not fully recovered, but regardless of him riding the switch has taken place. Personally I would rather have a fit Andersen than Lindback. A fit Hans should bang in more than Antonio at Monmore. Have no idea about Bjarne. If he isn't fit r/r could be covered by Lindback, Buck, Brady and Adam. Not sure there's any advantage there.

Clearly Poole have not tried to pull a fast one as Andersen is still injured. As Skidderbhas said he had trouble with his grip and was taken out of his last ride. Riders always try to come back too early. It happens all the time. They think they can give it a go but are found out on the race track. People are jumping up and down shouting foul when in truth there's nothing to see. Just a rider going against common sense and giving his injury longer to heal.

Poole Sign Lindback

What a load of old guff from the usual anti Poole brigade! Poole are not better off with Lindback as he is likely to score less than Hands (see what I did there) around Monmore. Poole had to make a decision based on the facts of the time. Fricke had speared Andersen and caused a quite nasty hand injury. What were Poole actually meant to do? Go with guests and risk a Klindt moment? Or bring in an asset of the club in the hope he could match Andersens scoring? No cheating at all. And now Andersen has decided to try out his injury, unsuccessfully with 0,1,1,1. Clearly fit to ride. But not race. Anyway we can't revert even if we wanted to. The rules just do not allow it. We have to ride at Monmore with a rider who is not likely to trouble the scorers in any serious way, when we could have gone with Harris, (now booked by Lakeside) Wolves must be happy we played a straight bat with a like for like replacement rather than using guests who would have scored more.
