Gate four huge advantage. Redcars heatleaders will likely see them through. -
Rowe has done well so far this season. Done exactly what is expected of him. Adam though has tailed off after a bright start. Silly falls allowing points to slip, followed by tailed off on Wednesday don’t bode well. If he goes Plymouth will surely jump in for him.

Poole Vs Redcar BSN SF 1st leg 17th May

Entertaining meeting with Redcar doing as well as expected against an mis-firing Pirates team far from their best. Danny King doing exactly as expected. He was very fired up to prove a point and was class as ever. Wright backed him up well and one has to wonder why Charles Wright never made that extra step to be a top line rider. Has loads of ability. Steve Worrall far from happy about heat 15 when talking in the after meeting press conference. He said he had a badly damaged bike, no points money and the rider he thinks caused it wasn’t penalised and got points money. He said there was no room for three riders entering the bend. Not sure what his argument actually was but he wasn’t happy about the incident. Would have given a 12 point lead instead of 6. Ben Cook shows how good he is but had to use his brothers bike in heat 12 which gifted Wright a win. So all to play for on Saturday. Redcar clear favourites to progress to the final but Poole never give up and ride the Redcar track well. Looking forward to watching the stream. -

Looked from grandstand that Hume might have caused it. But just the angle we are sitting at. -

Good entertaining meeting but silly points thrown away by Pirates. Ben Cook riding brothers bike as lost compression, Kyle riding a lawn mower and Steve W falling while leading. But well done to Redcar. Their Poole track specialists did the biz and they really should now go through. -
RIP Mervyn. Mr Poole Speedway back in the day.

Poole Vs Swindon 10th May

Still a reasonable entertaining meeting and I was rooting for young Sam Hagen in heat 14 for his first win. Doyle was head and shoulders above the opposition. Heat 13 should never have been called back though as he penalised himself. Hopefully Swindon can sort out a track and return to league racing. A shame there were only a handful of Robins fans in attendance though. -

Well done to Sam Hagon who nearly won heat 14 but git pipped at the post by Kyle. Doyle far and away a mile better yhan every other rider. Messed ip heat 13 and was third but ref put on rdd light after second bend and warned Doyle! -

Well Pirate boys not fancying the track at the moment. Keeps it interesting. Cook bros tailed right off. Swindon up for it! -

Teams seem very lop sided to me. Poole should smash Swindon Doyle aside so whats the point? Crowd is going to be small. Only a few Swindon fans here. -
Trackman Terry C who does Poole, Wolverhampton and Redcar? has had a minor stroke and it out of action for a while. I have been told he is now out of hospital and recovering. I am sure we on here would all like to wish Terry C all the best and a speedy recovery.

Don’t forget many of these riders won’t be able to ride for anyone but their team due to the wonders of brexit.
