  1. Ash is a young lad who is still learning, he will have good days and bad days, we should support him. Sadly Millsy just doesn't look quick enough, if he gates he can block but ultimately isn't quick enough
  2. Could of had Worky riders but after last weeks performance probably best not to!
  3. Charlieboy was referring to a suggestion of Skornicki, who rides for Wolves like Wells
  4. Interesting reading that Somerset are so low down. I think the Comets are certs for the play offs but Edinburgh, Newcastle and Somerset are better teams at the moment
  5. I think his point is you can only have one rider from one club, ie they already have Ricky Wells from Wolves so couldn't have another Wolves rider
  6. Best meeting I've been to in ages..... Eventually! We were convinced it was going to be called off but cracking effort from all the Comets tonight!
  7. Can't wait for this one now, both teams coming off good wins. I think Barker will dominate but Comets to win 52-40 for me
  8. I think Tero was getting some extra laps in at Derwent Park last night
  9. I think with R/R for Kus they are a lot stronger now, would be happy to come away with a point and 7 Comets in one piece
  10. This will be closer than the Knockout Cup meeting I would imagine. Good guest in the form of Micky Dyer who replaces Kyle who is in Poland for the World Under 21s Will be good to have Tero back after 6 weeks or so out
  11. I see Craig made an apology on the Workington Facebook page, nice to see, well done Craig, and once again best rider on show last night, shame it is off tonight, would have been great racing with him and Rich
  12. Dreadful performance from us tonight, only fight came from Rusty, Rich and Ash. Rene must get better away from home soon, it's costing us dear. For Edinburgh I thought Fricke was outstanding, comes across as a level headed young man too. Cook was the best rider on show by far however his goading of Rich in heat 15 was appalling, very disrespectful. Waving at him once he passed him is no way to conduct yourself, learn to win like a man Craig or people will soon lose respect for you
  13. Looking forward to this, think we will struggle though with our lads having a bad record round Armadale. Cookie vs Rich at Worky on Saturday will be box office though! Weather permitting...
  14. Says on his twitter its the end of the season
  15. If the track is viewed as not safe under any circumstance the riders should not ride. There was obviously enough concern to decide this.
  16. Can't see how the Worky lads would be happy to travel all that way for 1 heat then give it up so easily, must have been a serious issue. Flawed logic Willowman
  17. Exactly Topaz, Belle Vue had points deducted, if it had been a cup competition they would be out... Bet it doesn't happen though
  18. What an absolute shambles!!! I hope Somerset have to forfeit this now! Surely the track could have been identified as unusable earlier!!! Furious
  19. I don't agree there Topaz with them losing their way, 1 defeat in the last 9 meetings seems pretty good form. I do think something was missing on Sunday though, we never seemed to really get going, apart from Rich who was exceptional. I really don't know what he has to do to get in the GB squad. He is doing better than Auty, Worrall and Kyle (no offence Kyle) at the moment. Good luck to the lads tonight.
  20. Toughest meeting of the season so far, should be a belter Comets have tinkered the riding order with Kyle moving to 2, Jacko says he and Rusty have been riding the same lines so something needed to change. Hope Rich's great form continues
  21. On form Rich Lawson guesting for Plymouth, Comets fans will be keeping an eye on this one
