  1. Possibly, but that doesn't matter because he isn't a Workington rider
  2. Bach is back for Monday, guest for us still to be confirmed
  3. I was merely stating a fact, Richard is a great captain but Rene is a better rider in my opinion
  4. Looking at the first set of averages to be printed this season it looks like Richard has fallen more than any other rider, Rene's has gone up a touch, won't be long before we have a new number 1
  5. Heat 2 - Morris, Mills, Koppe, Knight Heat 13 - Stead, Bach, Lawson, Wells
  6. His comments were just a bit of banter designed to get the interest and crowd up, this proved successful as it was the biggest crowd since opening night. It was all done in good humour I believe
  7. We are an excellent team at home just as you are, but the same set ups weren't working as they had towards the end of the last Newcastle meeting so had to change. It's not an excuse, it's a fact. For the record I believe Newcastle will probably top the league this year, but maybe we may just pip you guys in the play offs!
  8. Very dull meeting of gate and go and a ridiculous amount of track grading, I mean why grade during the sun delay then again the very next heat?!? Newcastle have their set ups nailed for their home matches, as you'd expect. It took the Comets at least 2 heats each to get dialled in, once they did they looked ok. Must say I have been impressed with the team riding of the Diamonds in all 4 matches, especially Lindgren, our boys could learn something from that. The R/R has worked very well in Tullys absence giving Robson, Worrall and Lindgren extra rides, better than Tully could do? Probably
  9. Some crazy results tonight, just like last night, it's what makes it such a great league
  10. There were loads of good racing and passing in the first two fixtures which the weather prevented in the 3rd, you clearly aren't a fan, just a whinger! Oh and what about your comments about Tero being a reserve??? Proving you a bit wrong now isn't he?
  11. Frustrated at the choice of some of the matches, Last weeks @ Swindon was only going to go one way whereas the others were far closer and would have made for better viewing. Hoping tonight's will be better! Personally I love Charlie (never listen to a word she says though!) Looking forward to the Comets on Sky @ Scunthorpe at the end of the month
  12. At Workington he beat Morris and Mills in one heat then Rusty and Kyle in a more impressive win
  13. Kerr was the main reason the Diamonds remained close to us on Saturday night as well, good weekend for him
  14. As has been stated by the management the track was prepared in order to take the expected downpour of water from the rain, if it had been watered then rained on then the meeting would have been called off, which you would have no doubt complained about! And the £13 entrance I believe is the 2nd cheapest in the league so perhaps be thankful for that, not constantly complaining. Plenty of tracks in this league are gate and go, just look at our away matches this year, you have seen plenty of real racing from the Comets at Derwent Park already this season, lets give the track team credit for getting the meeting completed
  15. I'm looking forward to our trip there on Thurs, should be a good one, would be happy to come away with a point
  16. Riding for Workington means the world to Kyle, anyone thinking he isn't bothered is WRONG, pure and simple. Last night just wasn't his night, he will be back for sure. Keyboard warriors need to lay off the lad and let him ride. Sure everyone is entitled to their opinion but surely it is better to back the lads instead of destroying the confidence of teenagers!
  17. Best of luck to him, Just not too much luck tonight!
  18. Comets to win by 5 (hopefully) and even more hopeful for a dry race, I would imagine Dyer will impress again tonight
  19. Good luck Ash, Stay safe, finding his form now,
  20. Great riding from Rusty and Rene on Saturday, Millsy looks promising, Tero looked back up to pace by the end of the meeting, Kyle and Rich looked tired after their long week. Ashley just needs some confidence in his ability and machinery. All in all a promising start. Thought Mickey Dyer was superb too, especially in heat 15, holding off a charging Rene,
