  1. Think we both know speedway isn't likely to move forward, as you put it. That's probably why I'm happy to watch a decent meeting, despite a very amateurish presentation.
  2. Personally, after attending both nights, I will definitely be there next year if it is held at Belle Vue. Lots of problems, but the racing was much better than Cardiff. Hopefully a few lessons will be learnt, & most problems could be sorted with more staff, in my opinion.
  3. Come up on news that M62 closed in both directions due to a crash, but it doesn't say what junctions. Anyone got any more information please ?
  4. I suspect that a lot of speedway fans are approaching the age where they start to consider their bucket list. I am personally, & this event is on mine. To be worrying about bus times to the stadium is a bit of a mystery to me. We will order a taxi to the stadium, & get one after the meeting to the city centre.
  5. Very strange if true, most riders need both leagues to make it pay.
  6. I go for both, but it's always better if you get a good meeting with plenty of overtaking.
  7. Thanks Ian, tickets booked for East stand, over half stand sold already.
  8. Could someone put link up for buying tickets please, as I cant get on it from email from Belle Vue.
  9. Would expect prices will be higher than that, but still think both days will sell out.
  10. I understand why you lost interest in live matches after we exchanged private messages, but while you are sat in your armchair, it would be good if you started posting on here again.
  11. My ex worked in a circumcision clinic. She said the pay was crap, but the tips were great.
  12. Morris isn't the only rider that has done wrong. He has been punished, & hopefully learnt his lesson. Hate drugs personally, but unfortunately they are rife in society.
  13. If he is replacing a lower average rider, it would still improve the team.
  14. Would expect he will still score well once he gets up to speed. Oxford & Brum are both under the points limit, so could possibly drop their lowest average rider for Morris, & have a better chance of the play offs.
  15. Nick Morris will come into teams thoughts mid season when his ban ends.
  16. I know why they did it, but it's supposed to be a professional sport, not it's a knockout !!
  17. The biggest joke is fiddling the draw so that the Holders can go back to Poole for one night.
  18. Very unlucky with injuries, remember his wife spannering for him a few years back. Still a good rider, can't believe he will start the season without a team, unless he has retired.
