I think the most obvious solution for next season is run the Premiership with 5 teams if Sheffield continue, or 6 if another team moves up. Trying to change to 1 league this late is impossible in my opinion.

Think we both know speedway isn't likely to move forward, as you put it. That's probably why I'm happy to watch a decent meeting, despite a very amateurish presentation.

Personally, after attending both nights, I will definitely be there next year if it is held at Belle Vue. Lots of problems, but the racing was much better than Cardiff. Hopefully a few lessons will be learnt, & most problems could be sorted with more staff, in my opinion.
