  1. Think Hall's engines were poor in his ill fated spell with Panthers, & he was race rusty after missing most of the season. Throw in not getting paid, & it's not hard to see why he struggled. Think he has a good chance of improving his average next season.
  2. So will the next signing be Allen or Vissing ? Slightly favour the latter as we could also have Kurtz, & Roynon would start at reserve. Either way, looks like we will be competitive.
  3. Good move to hopefully entice a few Lynn fans to the EOES, but a big ask for him to improve his average. Still a very positive signing in my opinion.
  4. Virtually every Premier League team would be happy with Holder, & if he is as entertaining as Brady Kurtz was last year, I don't mind what average he comes in on. We need more young hungry riders in the Premier League, whatever nationality they are. It's riders like Dilger that should be stopped from riding here, not young committed, talented Aussies.
  5. Good luck to Glasgow Speedway & it's supporters. What a nice change to read a positive story regarding a speedway club.
  6. Bigcatdiary, Simon Lambert looks a world beater next to that list. Surely the new management will learn from last year, & have decent reserves ? Watching Barrett & Dilger having 10+ rides between them when we used RR was one of the most depressing memories of my time supporting Panthers.
  7. Expect 2nd rider to be Lewis, & he was the 2nd best rider after Ulrich last year.
  8. Hopefully Horton wont have our air fence this year, & we will have some spare panels to repair it if necessary.
  9. Agree hans fan, we need Roynon at reserve. That would rule Lambert out & would probably mean Tress & Kurtz in the top 5. Also have a sneaky feeling we could end up with Halsey or Phillips as 2nd reserve.
  10. Don't think the new management wanted Lasse irrespective of Hortons abysmal treatment of him regarding wages. If we end up with Olly Allen, cant see where we are any better off. Nothing against Olly, may I add. 1 Allen 2 Roynon 3 R Lambert 4 Blackbird 5 Ostergaard 6 S Lambert 7 Greenwood
  11. Think he terrified Dryml a few times last season, especially at Scunthorpe LOL.
  12. Although it's not a shock, still delighted that Ulrich is confirmed. Was awesome last season, & very entertaining, even a bit crazy at times !
  13. Crump 99, what is extreme about the example that I gave ?
  14. If you don't have a programme, & get a lift 18 meetings mean a season ticket will cost £30 more than paying on the gate each week !! BARGAIN.
  15. Just teasing hans fan . Think Roynon & Greenwood would be good reserves.
  16. Dazpanther, apart from 2 & 4, think you might be close. Kerr & ?
  17. So if you miss a match, you could end up paying the same as you would if you paid at the turnstiles every week ?
  18. Whats the minimum amount of matches that we get for our money ?
  19. Be a shame if, as expected Lasse is left out in my opinion. Gave 100% for us in every meeting that I watched last season, & often rode when far from fully fit.
  20. Can't believe so many people are surprised that we are still in the Premier League. Hope the new promotion will be a bit more honest regarding the rest of the season.
  21. Agree with SCB. Friday night racing should add 200 people a week, so there should be no worries about being £5k short.
  22. Cardinal Sin, I will take a wild guess at Sissis/Castagne & Bates.
  23. Ostergaard, Greenwood, Blackbird & Roynan look most likely to start team building in my opinion.
  24. I will be amazed if we don't run, & will buy a season ticket if we do. Well done to everybody who has donated to the survival fund, & with friday night speedway, I am sure we will break even at least, as long as we have a competitive team.
