The Panthers riders I spoke to afterwards said that they struggled with the 3rd & 4th bends, because the surface was very patchy, & a bit bumpy. Why did Berwick have an interval when it was trying to rain ? Credit to all the riders, who gave 100 % in every race. Team spirit seems to have been good all weekend, & I think our new manager deserves the credit for that. Nice to meet bigeddiecheck, a proper speedway fan, & gentleman. Good to see Claus ok after his 2 falls. Wish we had signed him instead of Fisher at the start of the meeting.

Panthers will be on their fourth meeting on the trot by the time they get to Berwick, & that's a lot of strain on machinery. For that reason, I don't expect to gain any points from this meeting.

bigeddiecheck the only nonsense is you being completely biased to the management. The fact the alcohol issue isn't mentioned in the statement doesn't help clear the matter up in my opinion. If a factory worker left his workplace without telling anyone, he would most probably be sacked. For a professional person to do this is completely unacceptable.Does make me wonder if he made a sharp exit before he was breathalyzed.

Peterborough fans are few & far between whatever league we are in, & its a mystery to me because I have been to a lot of tracks, & not many are better than the Showground.

Fisher has been poor for weeks, but his average will soon be too low to get a good replacement. What average would Norbi be on ?

Think both the reserves have been on the pace this season, but the senior riders Fish,Ales & Ulric have all been inconsistent, thus not giving them time to settle.

Good meeting, & the Witches deserved a point. Look certs for a play off place in my opinion.

My first Speedway hero in 1968 at Kings Lynn. I would get him to sign a photo or programme nearly every week, & he would gladly sign it, even though I must have got on his nerves. RIP Thanks for the memories.

Dryml giving up when Ostergaard took him wide, when he could have caught Williamson, nearly cost us the match. Very good effort by Panthers in the end, & after the first 6 races, some very good racing. Kicked off on both sides of the pits as well, so plenty to entertain us all round.
