My first Speedway hero in 1968 at Kings Lynn. I would get him to sign a photo or programme nearly every week, & he would gladly sign it, even though I must have got on his nerves. RIP Thanks for the memories.

Peterborough V Glasgow (pl) Tues 27/5/14

Gives Fisher a bit more time to recover from his groin strain lol. -
I guessed by your name you wasn't a full time Panthers fan, but the club still needs as much support as possible. My opinion is that the management should have avoided a meeting so close to Truckfest ending, but I put that down to the fact we always had a couple of days extra to get everything ready because we raced on a Thursday. Nothing sinister just a bit naive on the part of management. When you do decide to attend another meeting, let me know, & I will come over & buy you a pint.

Whilst it sounds romantic to blood the youngsters, have we really got any that are competitive at that level at the moment ? -
Peterborough Vs Edinburgh - Tues 6th May

Neil Watson only types what Mick Horton tells him to, so if you are looking for an explanation, you should be having a go at Mick. Personally, I think a full explanation should be forthcoming from the promotion, but i'm not holding my breath. -
Rye House V Peterborough 4th May

Very stupid lol. What is more amazing, people must be buying them on a regular basis for them to run out ! The food at the pub next to the stadium looked lovely but I felt too sick to try it. Maybe next time lol. -

Wont ever complain about the fish & chips running out again. Tried them for the first time yesterday, & they were truly awful ! -
Stoke Speedway Track Work Update
proud panther replied to Swift Saint's topic in National League Speedway
iannewsman, if you don't go to Stoke anymore, why do you feel the need to slag the promotion off ? Sounds like sour grapes to me, & before you ask, I have never met Malcolm Vasey, so my opinion isn't biased towards him. -

He still has to answer to his bosses, the same as a manager in any industry having directors to answer to. I think you would be better talking to the directors of Stoke speedway iannewsman, do you still attend speedway at Stoke ? -

Good luck to all at Stoke, especially Malcolm, who always responds to the negative comments aimed at Stoke. I suspect that his hands are tied when it comes to sorting a lot of the problems out, & I feel that sometimes the moaners are shooting the messenger.
