Any news how the Russians ride in the wc qualis this saturday?
-
St Petersburgh was in the Finnish league, Daugavpils also and for this season Auseklis from Riga wants to come. Team Finland was for several years in the Swedish 1st division. Also Rivne has ridden in the Polish bottom tier. It’s all about the will to make it happen. And such a will is not there for a any foreign team to just come and ride in the Ekstraliga. IMO.

Dont see the point as the only time they have any use is at the startline. Current engines can rev up to 18k but is used in racing between 8-12k if I remember correct. But I guess savings are savings even if only for the 4 seconds before tapes up...

Like we already know and you just said again, city councils pay a lot of the money in speedway. But not just in speedway. Tomek Valtonen is a Finnish ice hockey coach in Poland and in Polish ice hockey league and said the same... so they should try their best to get back on it. Before the only thing forward is to first put the whole thing down with a huge bang.
-
I knew I was gonna get it wrong but typed it anyway cos thought it was funny. Bitkosh should do it to get back on the map both in the sport and also in the city.

So he’s been talking to his dad

Well I for one am waiting somewhat anxiously...

Ill try to find the article again. I’m condifent it said Warsaw... EDIT: the day after they took the train to another meeting to a city that was sometibg like Byloswecz or similar and rode in front of 35k...
-
I’ll use this thread then... while scouting for other info, I found a meeting report from a meeting in Warsaw, late in 1956. Rider in the thread title was in it eith a couple of Finns as well. I’d like to know where in Warsaw they rode, in front of 50k people on the worst soeedway track in Poland. Read so in the article.

f-s-p replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
Armando is the the man VERY much on the top of track racing. WTF? Are you saying that someone else is holding his balls regarding what's going on? He did tell me to my face politic's interfere with his work May this year. We still don't have SoN allocations, we still don't have Nice league calendar... My plan is to stick to rep until the end... -

For past years you’ve also qualified for the final by filling an entry form... Mickey Mouse?? -

Because it’s in Europe, probably without prize money and nobody/not enough anyway cares... -
even less people than last year.

Kauhajoki: Matti Isoaho, Christer Biskop with reserves Jussi Nyrönen & Tomi Kirilov. Örnsköldsviki: Tomi Tani & Timo Kankkunen.

What power does BSI have over PZM? but yeah, the FIM comes out pretty weak from this.

f-s-p replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Yes you should. -
Yes I have. I publish a magazine overhere and have been asking about them for a couple of years now. I’ve done the same on the Finnish website speedway.fi. I’ve contacted the people that kept them at the time via phone and email... And the sand blowers people now are entirely different than late 90’s. thanks for the help anyway, it was more than I’ve received from many!

2019 Swedish Eliteserien fixtures
f-s-p replied to racers and royals's topic in International World of Speedway
Think you need to remember that the ISL agreement was for 2018 and who knows what happens for 2019. What I do know is that there wont be a free weekend for FMN championship finals in 2019 like there was for 2018. -
Where is this info? Asking since I'm waiting for the letter that states the race nights and the national champs weekend for 2019...
