Guessing there are no news, but is there any gossip around this?

There's only one category of international ref's and that FIM. Some just never reach world championship level but stay on (for example) European/continental level. I checked this.
-
He still needs a FMN license. And it was a FIM Europe event. Not totally sure if you can get just FIM Europe ref license, but Varkaus most certainly "only" got a FIM Europe track license.
-
	Because basically ACU does.

What I thought as well. Emil's done it before with Hans in an elitserien match at Motala and one of the pair ended over the fence. Emil should have been excluded.

A Few Years Down The Linef-s-p replied to B.V 72's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Denmark is the only safe bet. Not giving any odds though. Russia is a huge unknown, but according to some research by the FIM they had the biggest 85cc scene in the world a few years back. That might mean nothing though, as me thinks an organised system is lacking in the country scale picture. Dont know. EDIT: slight misunderstanding on my part, you were asking riders. Still the same answer though, Danish riders with Russians as the unknown.

2016 Swc Semi's And Final 29/30/july 2016f-s-p replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Me thinks he was in full control waiting for the moment to start turning, but the the russian locked up. Problem with this is IMO is that the guy in front usually has the right to choose the line and the guy behind therefor usually is in the wrong. But the mistake here was made by the guy in front... Wasnt it?

2016 Swc Semi's And Final 29/30/july 2016f-s-p replied to hyderd's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Yes but no. It's a team event and if USA is full strenght they have no power.

It is a circus act, pure entertainment. No testing involved for lower admission of greenhouse gasses or what ever. No developing of lower fuel consumption or what ever. No testing of aerodynamics or what ever. No developing of computerised engine controlling or what ever. It's 15 heats a meeting of entertainment for the paying public with basically 50 year old technology on the bikes.

Event 1 Vojens 23/7/16f-s-p replied to allthegearbutnaeidea's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Why and where did they move the meeting from Vojens?

	Thats bollocks.

Better late than never... He rode in Vetlanda lag cup for Valsarna and was there to show what he can do. For one and another reason his actual debut was moved a few times. But by now you know that he qualified from Varkaus for the U21 European final and is one of the key riders in the Haukat team. Machinery is his problem, lack and age of it, but I know there are things happening to make that right. I guess his biggest international achievement so far is passing Zmarzlik in U21 wc quali last year and keeping him behind for 3 laps.... = ) It takes some doing with the scrap he was riding with back then..

2016 Speedway Gp Qualifiersf-s-p replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Ok. Could not check it when I wrote it. I was working today only about 5 km from the former Nokia hq at Tampere. Where they developed all top stuff and network tech. But my phone barely had 3G...

2016 Speedway Gp Qualifiersf-s-p replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup i know two persons that can correct me, but Freddie got a Svemo issued WC and Vaculik a CCP issued WC. Correct?

2016 Speedway Gp Qualifiersf-s-p replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup Jason Crump apparently had a day off to and been tweeting like I do on saturday nights... Anyway, he said that wild cards in quali rounds are no good. Was supported by Hans A later on... I think that too. But, like said a few years ago, the FIM is almost desperate to find organizers for any qualies. Havent been told that this has changed. So to give a local wild card is their way of reaching towards the organisers so that they would step up.

2016 Speedway Gp Qualifiersf-s-p replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup But with both THJ and Lindgren in need of the wc as well it goes to Svemos internal politics me thinks. Kylmä definately has done enough this year to earn it.
-
2014 Gundersen said it was about 150+150 in juniors. Poland has about 70 riders alone to start in their individual champs qualis.
