KK must have done something similar! I thought Wright's ride plus Morris's in the last heat to keep Harris out and get the 4 points were very good. Sedgmen's ride in heat 4 to go round Sargeant and Garrity on bend 3/4 and Harris's immaculate ride to get passed both Robins in heat 7 the highlights.

Last night his ride to hold off Harris and King was a cracking one.

According to review on Bspa website Buxton protested about Carr's equipment before heat 15. Then he had to go off 15 metres because he missed 2 mins proving it was legal. Well that is the Coventry version of events. Scorecard has note that Cof C informed ref that he did not have chain guard on. So ref stopped heat. Therefore adjudged he was not ready so failed 2 minutes.

If the same as last year but with the reserves able to get an average and move in to 1-5 we will have heat leader classed riders at reserve during the season. In fact timing that drop could decide the play off.

Yes I understand but if you are the Bspa you are trying not to lose the people you mentioned but to attract people like Buzz, KK Vaculik etc to come or give teams the opportunity to get them in. Therefore raising the standard of the league.

While I understand the logic of those arguing for a lower points limit, the fact it is 40.5 allows riders with inflated averages like Zengota, Summers, Nilsson a chance to ride this year. It also allows teams to look at heat leaders who rode before the recent heat format change. The real issue is that the heat format has skewed too many riders averages one way or the other that they aren't a real reflection of their relative abilities.

I agree more likely Batch Morris and Masters and our team will be "stoked" all year. Also if any unforeseen issues with the Abbey and the OTA will be the obvious alternative.
