Adam scored 15 maximum for Gb in European pairs semi final along with Bates finished second on 20 pts. France won on 21 with David scoring 9. Adam won run off for first place with Bates third so GB win. David was excluded.

Enjoyed the night. Glad Whitmore walked away because it looked a bad one. Zach and Greaves on a different level to the rest. Woodhull was impressive definitely models his starts on Hans. Ended up watching Cupitt through my fingers. Quick but wild.

I don't know much about National League riders but I am suprised by the comments Swindon will be far too strong for Plymouth. Both teams beat IoW by the same score 43-47 us in the Trophy and Plymouth in the KOC. Boxall and Compton look like a good top two. Smart knows his way around the abbey. Walker was highly competitive in last years match v Coventry nearly beating Ritchings and Atkins won a heat with a exciting ride around the air fence for 4 laps. So think match should be a good one. Only problem I have is getting there from a parents evening. So does anyone know when the turnstiles close or is there a late entry gate?

David had another good day in Poland scoring 12 from 5 rides including the decisive last heat win ( only 2 riders ) to win the match 44-45.

Bellego 11 from 4 joint top but difficult last heat. Unfortunately failed to score in last heat which may have cost him qualification. Klindt through though. Got through via run off. Well done David. Also Kim Nilsson won his last heat to finish top. So 3 riders who race in the UK through.

Harris in second on 10 with 1 ride to go.

Think we would be better sticking with the team we have at present. Likely to have more to play with after visits to BV and Wolves. Especially the latter where we normally spend all night visiting the dog track on bend 2.

Good result for the Sprockets 43-47 win. Zach on fire coming from the back twice. Shame Lakeside away on the Island next week when the Sprockets face Plymouth. I assume Lakeside will have priority over him and Mason/ Bowtell.
