  1. I'm sure there is a 2.5% reduction for riders in their first 3 years (I think it's 3) after they leave the NL.
  2. Funnily enough he was a "proper number 1" for Edinburgh in 2010 when we won the league with a + 10.00 average. Only scoring Under 12 away from home 2/3 times, and even then he was still hitting 9 or 10. (Including 15 Max at Redcar and 14 at Kings Lynn) Even at home he got double figures 9 out of 10 weeks. I was gutted when he left, but we couldn't fit him in anymore, and we gave cookie a call, which I'm glad of!
  3. That's possibly why Howarth signed instead of a seven pointer, so that they had the points left to put MC up to the 5.00 that he came over on if need be?
  4. All those points to play with and you bring back someone who isn't up for putting 100% in for you....
  5. I forgot all about Simota tbh! Would still be a decent enough team!
  6. Fisher 7.89 T. Kurtz 5.96 Risager 7.36 Newman 6.51 R. Worrall 7.32 Benko 3.00 St. Neilsen 4.34 42.34 Decent looking team. Kurtz will probably be a rebel but the rest are realistic.
  7. No differently to how they are viewed already then?
  8. Don't know why your so negative? That's a good first 3 Signings IMO. If you can add 4 other good riders then your laughing!
  9. Fisher 7.89 Wethers 5.50 Kerr 7.54 Mellgren 6.57 Lindgren 7.12 or Pijper 7.09 S. Lambert 3.73 Rose 4.15 42.50 or 42.47 Maybe unrealistic, but would be good on paper
  10. That actually looks an decent team. Every rider could up their average and give Plymouth a decent season. Possible play off material if it clicks well.
  11. At the start of the season? Edinburgh 2014. Just July onwards we didn't have power at reserve.
  12. Can see Newcaste possibly being interested. He rides Brough well and they might want an experienced head to replace Robbo.
  13. That's actually quite a sensible comment from JDSC. Incorrect, but sensible
  14. You don't have to? He's signing for them tonight
  15. Good looking team, but Not a great amount of riders who interest me just below 5.90 that are realisitic. Any suggestions of people I may have missed?
  16. Ben Barker, Jake Allen and Thomas Jorgensen will be bandits in 2015! Good start for you guys!
  17. I read somewhere else that the repairs have been made, but the money had to be taken from the stox and the potters funds. So effectively the speedway promotion need to replace that. So yes, they can run a meeting, but now they struggle to afford a team, hence the fundraising.
  18. I like that side. Haertel was discussed a year ago as an option before we signed Foxy. Looks a decent prospect and could be a valuable asset and score well middle pairing with Kev. I'd actually take Simon Lambert at 7. He maybe won't do a worrall and bang in double figures from #7, but he will score a solid 5/6 points every week and I think he would be a good partner for cleggy.
  19. Fair enough, Probably means the team above would have to be two 3.00 riders at reserve then only rider under 3.20 that's worth a look IMO is olly Greenwood.
  20. Was it as high as that?? Green sheet Issue 30 on the bspa website says he was only 5.23 when replaced?
  21. Think he's on a 5.23 or similar, and would definately take him on that as a second string! Cook 9.19 Tabaka 6.00/Wolbert 6.19 Sedgmen 6.99 Thomsen 5.23 Masters 8.23 Clegg 3.00 3.86/3.67 left. In my opinion, once If Aaron was to come back next year with the equipment he finished the season on, he would hit a 5 point average again. He's seen all the tracks now and knows that's what, so I'd put my savings on him coming back stronger next year with less pressure on him to perform!
  22. I agree, and bear in mind this is my personal opinion: Cook > King Masters > Tungate Sedgmen = Manzares Heeps = Tabaka 5.5-odd (example - Anders Thomsen ) = Hawkins Clegg < 3.00-odd (example - Olly Greenwood) Fox < 5.00 (example - Arthur Sissis)
