  1. 14th of March 2015 Murieston Sports Complex (Murieston United Community Football Club). Livingston. K/O 2 PM. This will, as much as possible, take the form of Edinburgh Fans vs Glasgow Fans, but neutrals are welcome to play and choose a side. Entry as a player is £20 p/p, and spectator fees will be announced in due course. The game will be refereed by a former Scottish senior football official and current speedway referee Willie Dishington.. JAMES GRIEVES has agreed to captain the Tigers team, with DEREK SNEDDON captaining the monarchs. Other players include current Tigers team manager Stewart Dickson and former Tiger Scott Courtney. We are looking to get as many people involved as possible and to get as many people along on the day to raise enough funds to present to Ricky at his big day. There will hopefully be current Glasgow and Edinburgh riders in attendance on the day mingling among the crowd as well as members of the promotion of both clubs.
  2. It's already been confirmed by the promotion that the Polish club have agreed Craig's British commitments come first.
  3. Worked out we would have 16.12 left if we had to replace Sam & Justin, and there's no way we would be anything but 1.50/2.00 under the limit with what is left. Not many options out there and everyone clamouring for the same eligible riders.
  4. hardly any of note. Todd Kurtz will be in demand I guess. (I think he has DN, but don't quote me on that)
  5. Ahh, but Newcastle won the league cup, so were they not invited as winners of that. :-)
  6. I didn't think he was that young, I agree the 25/26 date of birth is the more likely one, just wonder how the rules allow it?
  7. Speedway results have his date of birth as.... 1998-05-26
  8. And If he didn't make the gate he pulled up before he even finished a lap..... Surely someone comfortable around a track would try passing the home boys?
  9. If they are using 7.00 for holder, they will have 4.64 (I think) for the last man.
  10. The match will be on the 14th of March 2015, at Murieston Sports Complex (Murieston United Community Football Club). Kick off 2 PM. More details will be announced nearer the time.
  11. Wee benkos compatriot, Joe Tabaka?
  12. No he came over and became an Edinburgh asset and we sold him to Redcar to fund the purchase of Craig Cook from Workington.
  13. 1. Fisher 7.89 2. T Kurtz 5.96 3. Newman 6.51 © 4. Simota 6.10 5. Risager 7.36 6. Benko 3.00 7. Franc 5.67 By my calculations this totals 42.49! Or 1. Fisher 7.89 2. Simota 6.10 3. Mellgren 6.57 4. Newman 6.51 © 5. Risager 7.36 6. Benko 3.00 7. Wilson 4.80 42.23
  14. See my answer on the Somerset thread AF, but again, I could e wrong!
  15. Couldn't be true, as Panthers only have 3.5-ish left and Jacobs has a 4.07 average?
  16. Oli Greenwood might fancy a Saturday track if it suits his work? 1. Barker (8.91) 2. Allen (7.00) 3. Jorgensen (7.09) 4. Wethers (5.50) 5. Vissing (7.09) 6. Greenwood (3.05) 7. Edberg (3.84) Total; 42.48
  17. The way I read the statement was that he wouldn't be able to make Somerset in time after work, but Am I right in saying he is fairly local to P'boro so he will manage to get there easily after work? I may be wrong though?
  18. He will be at the EOES, the Panthers would be daft to miss out on that opportunity!
  19. If that was who Somerset went for then IMO he would be good at #4 to provide some experience beside young BK who will most likely be at #3.
  20. On any 5 point assessment, all it takes is for the rider to score in every ride (including a second somewhere - assuming they are in the main body) and they have done their job. IMO Arthur Should do well enough. I think starting at reserve is the best thing that the tigers could have done, as bates is adequate cover for him. I'm looking forward to seeing him at Armadale next year!
  21. To be honest I think even having Berwick, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Newcastle involved means everyone could benefit from this sort of scheme restarting.
