  1. You can't seem to grasp that the gripe is with the amateurish work by the Workington promotion, not the fact a rider had to goto hospital.
  2. Think he removed whatever it was, he has apologised this morning. I guess it was something to do with the footy?
  3. Correct me if I'm wrong, but are St. John's ambulances not separate from "normal" NHS ambulances? I mean other ones have "London Ambulance service" etc. on the side. They may be connected but I thought St John's were "hired" for events etc?
  4. They mentioned a 60+ minute wait, and that the ambulance that had Kyle in it may not be able to return. I'd have thought if it was hired for the event, it would have? We've had far to many occasions where a replacement ambulance was required at Armadale, but as I remember there has always been one when required. It comes across as sheer amateurism from the promotion IMO.
  5. Sorry, should have added he was talking to scrabble man about his injury. The guy's just a wind up merchant, but comes across as a phallic member to me!
  6. Tiresome announcer calling Ryan Fisher a dangerous rider, seconds after bach knocked Poole off into the air fence. After the race! This guys a muppet.
  7. I'm worried about Deek, but Aaron will definitely score, he has improved a lot, biggest score last night! Still think this is where the run ends though.
  8. Not much to say about this, but cheesing for Max getting his first full 15 point maximum! He's been close to it a few times and chucked it, glad he hit that one.
  9. I thought Deek was a bit unlucky last night, he looked like he knew what line he was taking and showed more conviction than he has recently. Simon Stead caused his fall by pulling a big lock, and was lucky to stay on the bike when Nielsen gave him a good clout going into turn 3 in heat 14. Also he gated really well, just needs to figure out how to hold on to/build on that speed! I was quite disappointed by Stead to be honest, seemed only able to ride one line, which wasn't really working for him. Would expect a man of his experience to change it up once or twice! Still only half time, but from what we saw last night we should be in the final! As I said in the thread about the semi-final draw, would love us vs Worky in the final.
  10. Deek has said himself that he hasn't been good enough. But I like the balance of the team the way it is at the moment, I think Deek and Max make a decent pairing. His fall to reserve is obviously only a matter of time, and I don't think he will score quite as many points as Stevie from there. But only time will tell if Stevie steps up and outscores Deek from a team place.
  11. It wasn't that enjoyable last night, I'm not sure whether that's due to the amount of times we have seen the Kittens or the sorry state they are in. Probably a mixture of both. Not really sure where they go, I would have thought a temporary replacement for Berge would have been a must. I mean the last thing you want for struggling team is more rides for the struggling riders. As for Agent Wolbert, I'm a bit confused, he does show what he is capable of but obviously not nearly often enough. Stevie's interview got me thinking, could it just be a lack of effort from over the winter and previously taking effect? He was close to giving up, so he surely wasn't investing 150% of his efforts being keen and enthusiastic about his speedway.
  12. We should all be used to not really knowing by now! As for the meeting, I think it will be a tough one, not convinced that we will win. I think Stevie staying at reserve will be the difference, hopefully pull another one off.
  13. I had been looking forward to that heat 13 all week, but heat 12 took it for me! I swear I thought all three were heading for the fence on bend 3.
  14. If we are the smug's, you lot are definitely the bitter and twisted's. Not really thinking about this one yet, tough one tomorrow first.
  15. Thanks for the preview Ghostwalker, looking forward to the meeting tonight, so hopefully no late transmission sabotage! Feels like I haven't seen Emil ride in forever, so excited about that.
  16. Think that's a good draw, I guess the home leg is on 6th June, looking forward to it. I think Us vs Worky would be a good final, they would be out for revenge and could be tasty! We can't face Peterborough thanks to Health and Safety, so one of us will have to chuck it I'm afraid.
  17. That's unfortunate for the tigs, you would have thought Berge would have scored more than the 4 from RR. Even if Rusty had pulled his finger out they could have won the meeting. What's the latest on Berge anyway?
  18. What do you call a Spanish footballer with no legs? I'd certainly like to see Facu ride over here, he's usually good to watch.
  19. Yep, by Cookie's standard he is nowhere near this list! He had the audacity to finish third in heat 1 on Friday! Imagine that! May be wrong, but has Cookie had any TR's? seems we are never behind by enough points
  20. It will never happen, health and safety won't allow it, sorry.
  21. Absolutely devastated for Aaron, he looked really good tonight, not sure how long he'll be out for. His ride in heat 7 holding off Risager was immense, he was covering every move the Dane made. That was a big scalp, and Morten is no slouch at the Dale as he later showed. I really enjoy watching Richie Worrall as well, he is such a classy rider. In general tonight was a much more entertaining meeting than we've had recently, despite the early scare!
