  1. I was not even 1 yet, but I hope he has a great day. Makes DK's home debut seem an also ran. But who is to say that the two events are not somehow linked. Will DK also go on to great things.
  2. Mind you the cynic in me thinks this is only ready in the mindful imminent arrival of Sky cameras for the dogs.
  3. More important perhaps is how Danny King goes against Ben Barker.
  4. Given on there last visit we stuffed them 60-29, they must be oh so happy at the thought of facing a Danny King looking to impress on his home debut.
  5. So with this rain-off I guess we have dodged the bullet as it seems Schrambo was unfit. It gives the lad another week to recover before Plymouth on Friday. Shame that Danny King makes his team debut away though. I bet Redcar are so looking forward to next Sunday too.
  6. Are you on the drink again to drown your sorrows then. And just for good measure, the bloody sun is now shining in Wallsend. We might have risked this meeting if up against local opposition methinks.
  7. You still have to catch said tail though, time will tell, cos it does have wagging potential methinks?
  8. Only seen Danny ride twice-for Ipswich vs Newcastle back in 2010 when we nearly took out an EL side{with Lemon and North it would have been carnage}, and up at Berwick in the GP qualifier{2012?}- we could be seeing an Larsenesque style rest of 2014 if he performs as on those occasions.
  9. Damn good to here, so there is still hope. Hell, if you were looking for a sign to change your mind about retirement, this is smack in the face with a baseball bat moment.
  10. So is it on, anybody at the dogs and know what the track looks like. For me its prob. off. At least it gives us a chance to pull some more shananegins , sorry meaningful negotiations with a view to team strengthening. And maybe even have time for some team kevlars for the new boys to debut in.
  11. It seems that the Jase idea is a non-starter so fair enough and since Greaves has been 'fasted' to Swindon, then maybe the bairn does have something to attract the s/w scouts. Mind you if we see Jason having a post match practice?
  12. Even a rusty Jason would be better than a NL three pointer. In those couple of outings prior to his Crash with Stevie Worrall, he was showing glimpses of his pre- Glasgow crash form. And to be honest, that sort of reaction- while I am sure sincere on your part- is not going to bring the guy out of retirement.
  13. Exactly! Or maybe perchance somewhere in between Namely THE SEA.
  14. Does anyone think there is any chance that Danny King's arrival at Newcastle might tempt brother Jason back. His average would surely fit, but does he still have his bikes. To me Jase doing a Compton would solve many probs. Plus many a Diamonds fan would cheer his return.
  15. Any such change would be hijacked by the Europhiles to include all the EU.
  16. Still needed a Diamond to clinch it for you though. Come and get us now with Danny King at our helm.
  17. Not even with a shoe horn, axle grease and baby oil. Would have Claes back in an instant. Just hoping we don't get an Elvis rendition when he wins ! Esp inappropriate given Henry's affiliations and sponsorship. Oh so true. On trying to explain this, Gobsmacked is the only word which truly sums up their reaction.
  18. And further the careers of European and Antipodian riders in their place too. Shame on the Bspa.
  19. Gcse's are not over for seven long weeks, so a lot of work for the lad if he wants them.
