Newcastle Vs Edinburgh {1.6.14 At 6.30}

Yeah, you missed a belter, even if we were on the losing side. Prob. the style of meeting Sky would have raved over. To lowly me, Ludo looked to be team riding, but hey, each to their own? -

I see that Lemmo just got given the heave-ho by Glasgow. Will he call it quits or go club hunting I wonder? Is he not still riding for the Bears then? -

Have we recreated the worst attribute of Shielfield without their pluses. In a nutshell, are we now a gaters' paradise. Tonight we saw a clutch of falls etc. caused by riders attempting to pull off a pass in less than favourable circumstances. -

Not sure if we threw it away or the Monarchs really are that damn good. Either way it was prob. a fair result. -

Pretty sure he guested for someone last season, but crashed and broke his wrist early on. Could be wrong though! -

My comment was not intended to infer any suggestion of a bad move from our management, merely that his inclusion failed to inspire me, but that it would a Monarchs fan. -

I see from tonight's scores that Robbo while guesting scored only 5. I hope he did not crash out of the meeting early cos we have too many out injured already. Crossed fingers that he is okay and just had an off night. Thanks to LL I now know he just had a bad day at the office which is a relief. -

In the latest post on the Diamonds website only the fact that R/R is being used again for Lewis Rose is mentioned. Does that mean Schramm returns I wonder? -

I have to admire your optimism, but I think we will have to have at least three home riders hit a purple patch with an equally reverse showing affecting our North of the border visitors for us to prosper. Or maybe with the right words Cookie could be nudged towards the pugilistic avenue early on. Just kidding- I think we all want to watch the Cookie vs Kingy spectacle with both at their respective bests. -
About time I started a thread, so here goes. Firstly, can I welcome Chris Mills to Brough Park. I do hope he can resurrect his career in the coming months and form a good track rapport with his friend Schrammy. Already looking forward to how Roy will intro. our new guy cos the 'hammer' def. failed to hit the mark. On to Sunday and I was encouraged to see Edinburgh show a crack or two when up against the Witches tonight. Either Chris Louie read the riot act to his team or the Monarchs missed a beat, but when Stevie is top scorer then something may be amiss with their main body. In the televised match Cookie was woeful for the Aces so maybe 'the King' will have his measure come Sunday. Maybe the guy at the end of the tunnel has found new batteries for his torch?

Newcastle Diamonds V Ipswich Witches 25/5

Only in the latter part of the season. Prior to that and an element of miss-givens re. Tully himself he was announced as THB. As an aside here,. Question your nick-name and it is very much a bye- bye to you. -
Though defo. delivered methinks. Still has strong links with Alan Hedley, but is I believe now an Workington asset, so regrettably unlikely short of being dropped at Derwent Park.

Ask our mercurial centre green announcer re your query. As to the rest- Tully-yes, if fully fit and Claes would always be in my team given that his form has remained at 2012 levels. -
Yeah, give Rene back {he he} to where he belongs.

THB= Tully As to the rest - Seemed to have his own bikes- no doubt stayed with a willing promotion helper as is the norm- but real prob I think was no Dalbers therefore no support for his cause. -

Cant see him being any more expensive to fly in than Rosen. As for not fitting. Well to me that was only because they wanted THB in instead. -

Claes would seem to be the 'forgotten man' of the Diamonds. To me he did nothing wrong, having a fantastic end to the 2012 season. For some reason it appears he was not wanted by the management! -
Your loss may be our gain? Maybe Chris can do a job for the Diamonds methinks.

Certainly had one 'whinger' in my vicinity, but most-me included- saw it as a good meeting. On the telly to the neutral viewer, it would have been at least a semi-classic, but for the stoppages. Given the words from George and Robbo in the programme though, they have doubts about our track surface. Has todays work rectified it I wonder. In my mind our 'home track advantage' has been nullified to date by the winter alterations, albeit with the right intentions. -

Got to like your optimism, but then again I had us being stuffed tonight, so who knows?
