  1. With the strength of this years field, the bottom 4(minus the wild card) could be in the final next time. Lindbaek Pedersen Janowski Holder, Oh yes all 4 of them have won a grand prix Roll on a great season
  2. Should be the best season yet, Zmarzlik is very good but he will not be top pole Dudek will come in and take that crown. Both of them will be fighting for top 3 or even better
  3. We flew into Berlin on the friday had a night there and then train on saturday morning to a place called Kostrzyn(Bastion Hotel(very good)). Train to and from there was no problem at all. a few locals at the train station after the meeting but no problems.
  4. Regarding the top 8 the man in trouble due to his poor form is Janowski, he has been dropping down and needs to hit form or he will be out of top 8
  5. Would Hampel be given a wildcard if Magic and Bartosz qualify on there own and then KK and Piotr qualify on there own and also Buckzwwski. A lot of polish riders there.
  6. Is Riss riding on speedway.org says hes injured.Who will replace him at this late stage, will it be Nathon Greaves
  7. When is the draw for the semi finals seeing how the first is in 10 days in Croatia
  8. Well 5 brits tried and 5 failed, i dont know how they do the draw but the line up for Kings lynn was alot stronger than Germany yesterday. NO brits in the semi final but one from Austria what is happening?
  9. Looking at the kings lynn line up theres already 7 good ones there to qualifer and there is a Pole to go in yet
  10. When you have really good riders in whether they are good all the time or inconsistent, you are always going to have a good rider not getting in the top 8 for the semi finals. This year there were around 10 good riders so always one or two of the top riders did not make the semi's making the series better. AJ is one of the best 15 riders in the world at present or top 20 at the very worst. The GP needs these riders, but not everybody will be happy.
  11. Looking past the semi's, the top 3 qualifyers i think that Vaculik and Kildemand will get in SGP and the third qualifyer could be anyone maybe one of the Pawlicki brothers, top 8 this year will be close this year and then the four wild cards of Darcy, Emil, Laguta and then one of this years non top 8 and will be a very strong line up in 2016
  12. Looking at the qualifyers, unless some young ones up there game nothing much to challenge this years line up. I would like to see Vacuulik back and kildemand in. Then you have past riders like Lindgren Bjerre Walasek Lindbaek. We need Emil and Ward plus the first two stated and it can get better.
  13. Just shows what a good sport we have when there are so many that could be World champ in that 15 and also the ones outside who could get consistent and become a champ in years to come. Ih he continues like he finished KK could be there, Tai as stated no pressure on him and Iversen coming back from Injury throw in Nicki and Greg, Hampel and Holder. Wow we have a good year ahead just a shame Emil, Darcy Laguta and Vaculik are not in it. New boys Majec Jensen and Doyley Lets go racing
  14. Read recently that next years Grand prix challenge final is going to be in Poland, anybody else seen this and do people think it will be the day after Torun?
  15. Who will replace Ward, thinking Jankowski will to get him ready for next season can't see them giving it to Gollob but you never know Anyway after today 11 days and counting bring it on
  16. I'm hoping Holder,Hampel and AJ get the last 3 spots. Then gives the wild cards to any four of the following 6 and you will have a goos series. The 6 are Iversen, Ward, Emil, Laguta , KIldemand and Jesper Jensen. The riders who dont make it should be seeded direct to next year qualiferys straight away if they wish. This would leave Batchelor, Lindgren , Bjerre and Smolinksi out of the GP for 2015, give them a chance to get back in direct in the qualifyers
  17. You don't what zagar will turn up hes top 8 anyway so it could be a good engine testing session, miss the gate and see how fast the bikes are to catch up , My three are Kildemand, Jankowski and Jonasson with Hans Anderson or Kolodziej the spoilers
  18. No it doesn't. If Nicki and Bjerre qualify top 8 and then Kildmenad and Hans get through the challenge and to a lesser (Mads and Klindt) i still believe Jepsen Jenson should have a wild card.. If some countries only have one then so be it (GB has been like that for years)(the country who out numbered other countries in the early years) We will have something to moan about if the two italians get through from the challenge. Now Aj has put himself back into the top 8 scenario, Him and smolinksi have one a GP this year that should mean a good chance of the wild card, reading articles there could be a German grand prix next year they would prefer a Grand prix with two germans in and not one. Speedway GP would love Smolinksi to get through the challenge and save them a wild card headache( He does bring fans with him also) Roll on next week for the challenge and then we can all start the debate again
  19. BREAKING End of an Era!! 2014-09-12 After 20 years and 177 SGP Events, Greg will miss his first Speedway Grand Prix due to the extent injuries he suffered in the Polish Grand Prix in Gorzow Poland on August 30th. Greg has been working overtime to be fit for the Nordic SGP in Vojens Denmark tomorrow, but there has not been enough time for the fingers on his left hand to heal to be where he can properly race and not be a danger to himself and his fellow racers. After having a special brace fitted to his left hand and a test session today in Sweden, Greg had to make the heartbreaking decision to pull out of Nordic SGP. “It has been a hard day for me. The injuries could have been a lot worse. I have worked very hard to try to compete but I will now focus my energy towards Stockholm.” said Greg. Greg said, “It is heartbreaking to see his ever-present status end but I have to look towards the future and the World Championship.” With a 14-point lead in the World Championship standings going into Vojens, Greg will continue to work hard to be fully fit for the next round in the Friends Arena in Stockholm. He is disappointed that he is not able to compete for both Piraterna and Grupa Azoty Unia Tarnow in their play-off semi-finals. “It is so hard to sit on the sidelines with so much at stake.” said Greg. “We have worked so hard to get where we are this year.” Greg wishes all his fellow competitors the best of luck tomorrow and would like to thank his fans, sponsors, clubs, friends and family for their support. See you all at Friends Arena!! LikeLike · · Share
  20. with the meeting I feel Zagar will pull out of the meeting after Vojens because he will probably have enough parts to concrete his place in the top 8 and do we know how bad Pawlicki injurie is
  21. Woodward out injured now, chance for the young Swede now Berntzon
  22. The thing with Lindgren is that no hes not a top 8 rider anymore but he is a top 15 rider, Where do you put riders like that in the GP or a rider who can get semi finals one week and nothing the Grand prix after it happens to the best of them (Hampel a example). It just a shame it is a closed shop, shoule the challenge be there for the bottom 7 but then somebody will always qualify on there day and do nothing the year after. We do have the riders there old and new but not enough spacers for them. Of the qualifyers too many riders from countries given a place when they should be all put in one round where the top 3 or 4 get through with all the bigger boys, give them places on how the country does in the World team cup
  23. Hopefully Tomas H jonasson will qualifyer from the challenge, he is up and down with his scores but would bring more to the GP than lindgren and sorry to say AJ who is past his best now.
