Without knowing the ins and outs of any proposed points limit changes/other rule changes i'd be happy enough to see a good few of the 2025 team return with the exception of MPT. Also don't see Palovaara returning on that high an average. Could we persuade Sam up the road for one last hurrah? Mr Riss fancy a return? I'd keep Loftus and maybe add Wood alongside him at reserve. That could be quite a powerful pairing on a fairly modest average.

Glasgow fans moaning about another track? Well i never. However did the sport cope until the panacea racetrack at Springburn was born? Some of the Tigers -appear to have become the self-appointed protectors of ‘proper speedway’. They need to get over themselves a bit.

Had the rerun resulted in a 5-1 to the Tigers I think I’d have walked out 😄

I was hugely critical of Kye Thomson at the start of the season as I felt we weren’t getting enough from him. He’s been brilliant in the second half of the season - real aggression and speed in his racing. He’d be the first rider I’d have back next season. Great to see and made me eat my words.

Yes the ref must have been quite relieved. Couple of interesting incidents. Why was ht1 rerun and not awarded? And then when it was rerun did VP try to come out on his first bike and get told that wasn’t allowed?

Yes and no. Injuries have always been part of speedway and unless we move to a squad system (obviously unsustainable financially) then guests and r/r will always be there. What should be addressed is promotions building teams with riders that routinely aren’t available due to commitments elsewhere.

😄. It was an odd choice of guest wasn't it? I'm sure he'll have his gating gloves on this Friday and come in with double figures. Depending on the guest choice i'd be tempted to hide him at no. 2 tbh!

Can't say i expected to come away from that disappointed with a 14pt lead. I don't think it's enough but at least makes the return leg a contest which i feared it might not have been. Midway through it felt like 20 points was the minimum we would have as a lead and then after ht14 i'd have snapped your hand off for 14. That Grahn chain could cost us big time - not saying he would definitely have held off the two Tigers but it felt like a big moment.
