It's suddenly a bit 'Reformy' in here

If we go for a 2.00 rider it’s surely going to be McGurk?

Yes however you’ve always got to have that up your sleeve for when results are slow!

The club says every year that they aim to build competitive teams. I’m not sure what’s wrong with that. Beyond some good natured derby ribbing I wouldn’t say either Scottish side gets too big for their boots as I think you’re implying?

I don’t think it’s out of order to be critical currently. I don’t expect to win every match but I expect more effort and leadership from some than we’re currently getting.

Sedgmen hiding in the pits for ht15. Very poor. I’d happily see any of them go except Victor.

Did Richie pay his fine in the end?

I’d be on the phone to Wolbert (again).

Comfortable home win. Our lot are hopeless.

The definition of a one man team currently. None of them with the exception of Victor look fast enough. Paco needs to engage his brain more - coming off in ht14 when on a 4-2 was just really poor riding. Kye is miles off it and struggling to beat reserves. Grahn hasn’t shown anything yet although if he drops to reserve that might change. Justin is useless unless he makes the start. I’m worried that Polis just might not fancy it - grippy technical tracks isn’t what he’ll relish. We can point to misfortune tonight certainly but there was more to it than that. I don’t think enough of them are that bothered.

Palovaara isn’t going to be a reserve very long anyway -

Not that I can think of a great solution but is it worth the team considering Kye moving out and replacing him and Max with a more balanced pair? -
The dugs in the street knew what was going to happen in ht15 with those selections. If Paco is pulling rank in the pits then it's poor - ht13 he couldn't get close to an underperforming Harris so how was he getting near Howarth or Thompson? Polis was the obvious choice. Losing at home when getting a combined 13 from your reserves raises questions. I'll give Sedgmen a pass as that's an unusual performance. Thomson though is simply not good enough at no.3 - he could genuinely find himself at no.6 shortly which actually might not be the worst thing! On a positive note, Grahn is improving race by race, Polis looks a proper racer and Palovaara (while against poorer riders) is smashing his average.
