Hts 9-13 a total disaster after a really strong start. A meeting Edinburgh should definitely have won. Anyway, that aside - Jonatan, Paco and Jordy were really good. Kye had his moments but the others meh. First visit to Northside and was hugely impressed. Perfectly set up and so good to see a purpose built speedway venue. Hopefully the locals continue to support it - I’ll definitely be back. Free entry for the kids, sticker at the gate and a free post race ice cream means my two went home very happy!

Is Jacob an Edinburgh asset? Thought he looked brilliant tonight tbh and i'd happily take him back if that's the sort of performances he would turn in. Always felt he was a little unlucky to miss out on team spots over the past few seasons.

Also looking forward to my first visit to Northside. The dates vs Edinburgh haven't worked so far so glad to be making the trip tomorrow.

Probably but I couldn’t be sure as my ST gives me access for when I’m not able to make it in person. Big revenue stream being missed out on at Glasgow IMO. Even if it was only against less local teams. You’ll get a decent number of Poole/Oxford/Plymouth fans tuning in.

So should a rider be ill in future then they should cite a (much easier to fabricate) ‘family emergency’ - not suggesting for a minute this is what KH has done btw. This rule needs looked at.

The Berwick 5-1 made it a bit unnecessarily edgy in the middle of the meeting but a couple of class rides from Sedgmen sorted it out. I’ve been as critical as anyone of Kye Thomson but it’s absolutely brilliant to see aggression back in his riding. A real bonus in the second half of the season.

Not even close to ‘first corner bunching’ so there’s no way all four back was an option. Bowtell was out of control hence Loftus running into him. Correct decision.

Zach well worth his win in my view. Harris’s fourth place cost him the chance of a good gate in the final. Had he been off the outside I think he might have done it. His move from 4th to 1st in the last chance was quite special and one I’d like to see again. Great day out as always at Marmande.

Did you see him limping back to the pits after ht13? No chance he was fit for ht15. Great win for the boys. Thomson was the correct choice for ht15 given he’d made some passes. Like the balance of the side now - Grahn growing in confidence with each meeting too which is great to see.
