No i think that on here is the last place a maybe speedway convert would look, they'd probably check out their Facebook page, website and twitter accounts……. all of which only mentioned the meeting yesterday. My point stands, to attract new fans one day before is far too late in the day to advertise a meeting. -

Not at all, i'm just sad that clubs theses days can't seem to grasp that advance publicity could be a good thing. This sort of stuff should be out a week in advance to try to get more local publicity. -

Can't believe for such a new club that this meeting was only put on here one day in advance . Don't they believe in publicity ? -

I follow Ellis quite a lot and really rate him. I read on the panthers thread that he turned down a place there after the injury of roynon as it would have meant dropping the Brummies in the poo one week before the start of the season. ( a rare showing of loyalty that's sadly lacking these days) I was gutted as is have been able to see him every week. As for lacking ambition ? I read that he rode in an international meeting in Germany on Sunday so he's certainly putting himself out there. -

I see Gino is making an appeal for contributions as his suit was cut off last night. ….. the suit that Ipswich paid for. Is it just me or are riders sticking their hands out at every opportunity these days ? -

you see lots of foreign riders all posing online with their new vans, supplied by the clubs, in new kevlars plastered with the names of British firms, none of which seems to find its way to the younger British riders ….. then bemoan the fact that they're not as good as foreigners . There's your answer. -

I'm lucky enough to be in a position where the entry pice is not a problem, but i can understand it puts newbies off and most of the stadiums seem to be stuck in the 60/ 70's in terms of facilities / presentation / music etc which is also off putting -

Do some counting, it'll be a sort of maths debate, something you seem quite good at. -
he tends to fly at the lakeside track ( he lives just up the road so has probably done thousands of laps there) but his away form was terrible, around two points i think. He really needs to hit the ground running
-
Greaves ,!!! Are the opposition all planning to fall off so that he can score a point
