  1. hopefully we can get some of the footy supporters in now the season is over, i think some cant afford both
  2. Not sure if you can replace Karger, being an assesed rider new to the league this year you have to stick with him, unless he quits or has a long term injury,
  3. think they have changed some friday meets to sundays
  4. so how can the 30th be a double header, you are at scunny 2pm, then back to peterbrough to ride against ippo twice?
  5. arent you riding at scunny on the 30th... how can a team be in 2 places at once.. unless you ride 3 times in one day
  6. Some berwick fans not happy with their team saying that thomas isnt a number 1 and should maybe be dropped, peterbrough thread saying tofty has to go or we have signed tofty and porsing...maybe thomas should come home?
  7. we have ...http://www.scunthorpetelegraph.co.uk/Scunthorpe-Scorpions-look-place-final-piece/story-29242955-detail/story.html
  8. vis issues?, i believe he failed to qualify for one in 2015 so classed as a new starte?
  9. because we all thought he was a 5 until it was anounced
  10. i wonder, but if you think scunny will be stronger ill take that,
  11. if he started this season as a new rider then he cant drop, he started last year as did lyager, if he comes back then he will get a true average, as stated the rule was changed at the start of the season. the teams who have an assessed rider who came in new this season will benefit next season if the riders sign again for the club
  12. nothing stopping you sign stokes is there? because he wasnt in workingtons 1 to 7 last year, holoub was, and so was lyager,, if karger and etheridge sign for the same team next year then they will get a true average.. holoub was classed as 7 for team building puroses, lyager would come in again on a 7 then drop when he has done the required meetings.
  13. Holoub is not a new rider to the priemier league...A rule has been brought in this season, whereby foreign riders new to British Speedway starting on an assessed average of 8.00, 7.00 or 5.00 cannot drop below 5.00. However, Holub is not a new rider this season, having signed for the Scorpions in August 2015 and been continuously in Scunthorpe’s declared 1-7 since then.(quoted from glasgow v scunny preview)... same will apply to Lyager i presume
  14. As long as ithe teams dont ride on the same night
  15. Porsing does poland on sundays i think, tofty im sure would be welcomed back,
  16. We have a 21 heat second half on monday.. yea lets put the meeting back till say 6pm, what time do you expect the meeting to finish or are people not bothered? people already moaning about 6.30 starts as they cant get the kids ready for school the next day
  17. Theres a thread on What speedway fans want, and some say the same thing... a well run meeting,no delays, good prepared track, good close racing, a second half with juniors but we give them that but still decide to stay away,i believe we were down to the die hard fans last night, but even some of those were missing, i dont just mean individuals as other commitments can take place but groups of say 4 or 5 were missing who were there at the start of the season.and people wonder why we never sign a Stead or Lambert or King or get Thomas back?,Even if 300 were in and everyone of them paid £15 thats £4500 before riders wages.if Josh was on say £80 a point he earned £1280 last night, Wilko scored 15, he probably got £700 so thats £2000 gone before you add on the other riders.then a £500 air fence panel needs replacing..i still believe the floating fans were watching on updates before deciding wether to come next week,,,As PhilWhiteWasMad said, once we start winning they will come. Are season tickets the answer? if dont turn up then your robbing your self and not hurting the team
