He didn't mention cheating. He said "dirty tricks" and thats what Matt is good at.

Surely thats a sign of how good the draft has become. There was a time that EL reserves were journey foreigners, some capable of being PL number 1s. The EL brought in a load of British kids and are now seeing them rise to the level of the ex-EL reserve by becoming decent PL riders and now being talked about as being capable of holding down an EL 1-5 place.

Why? Coventrys issue isn't marketing or people. They're one of the more stable clubs in a business sense.

Posf2 - Swindon Robins Vs Belle Vue Aces 21 September 2015

What Batchs crap performance does do is make me realise Swindon probably didn't fiddle anything to get Ward in. He's just a bit rubbish. -
Right now both me and Emil have the same amount of what it takes to be a World Champion. A place in the GP series. While he fails to/refuses to qualify/ride he cannot lay claim to one of the greatest. And for me, that very sad as he could be one of the greats, had he not been peeing about with the SEC he'd have stood a good chance of being World Champion last season as all the top guys seemed to fall apart (and/or get injured)

It always comes back to this "finding and independent person" - we already have a few of them, they're called referees!!
-
For someone who bangs on about facts thats incredible. He did NOT gain an average at Poole. That is a provable fact. you see, facts are irrefutable and provable - not your opinion
-
Piotr did ride for Coventry. Back in 2011. It was him coming into the team that cause Kildemand/text-gate to kick off - the same weekend Ward and his unnamed 17 year old mate were banged up in a prison cell. Piotrs average had nothing to do with Coventry, he was a 4 and it was never questioned. The rules changed in the winter and he had a few meetings for Poole the year after (2012) on a 5 I believe but averaged about 6.5 from a handful of meeting. He then signed for Wolves on a very fair 7.

Not Coventry but another team not a million miles away! Rumours are of 2 out and 4 in Two PL clubs going NL too. Looks like this winter could be one of the most interesting for a very long time - we may finally be about to get that shake up the sport needs. Personally, I'm convinced if all these teams move around that the EL is going to be less Elite than ever before, but maybe thats what we need?
-
Surely Sissis and Castagna must be as lose to certainties as it gets too? That said, I have heard rumours that if the EL needs numbers.....
-
TBF, I had been told that https://au.news.yahoo.com/qld/a/29340501/truck-driver-rescued-from-gold-coast-river/ was the incident. It seems someone has heard news/rumour about a crane crash and found this, from 3-4 weeks ago! Seems it's not the case though. Matt confirming of details ends that one.

You need promoters, without them you have no meeting at all. You need the riders, with them the meetings are pointless as you have no racing. But if you remove engine tuners, what happens? Engine tuners are basically parasites, they need to be removed. Get rid of them and the sport saves a fortune. It's just a case of working out how, sadly I don't have that answer.

Even more impressive is that he was the home team #1, he managed to jump/roll 3 times and STILL failed to beat an opponent! I'll be honest, I'm willing to believe she read something or is genuinely confused. For all he warped opinions and weird arguments he reporting of what's said no twitter is generally pretty spot on. -
It just makes no sense to me. Dump the SEC and the best pairs and suddenly he's barely riding any extra meetings by being in the GP series.

What you'll notice is that most of us tend to ignore her. Certainly when she off bothering others. Occasionally she's pretty spot on though - he twitter watch and feedback on whats been said on there is generally pretty spot on. -
It was the loudest cheer of the night!

Its typical Pearson. Raving about the guy in second (or 3rd). Erm Nigel, someone beat him so must have been better and more deserving of being raved about!

How f ucking corrupt is this sport?!

Rye House. Swapped him for Garrity.

I think thats a "woosh" -
Or if KK will bother?!

Beaten to it. The BSPA tried to extend Kylmakorpis 28 day ban by another 14 days but they had no right to. Eventually they saw they were wrong and agreed to the original 28 days.

Surely a SEC meeting won't happen in the UK while the Lagutas are riding in the series. -
So I can walk up to my boss now and say, "My dad has suffered an injury. I'm off home"? I very much doubt it, they'll need proof! And a note from my dr won't be good enough. The fact nobody from Poole is willing to confirm when he was injured and what the injury is just makes people all the more dubious. Had Dak been on a plane back to Australia I think we'd all have a fair deal of sympathy for him but while he's still in this country it frankly stinks. Kind of agree. Once again Matt Ford takes advantage of a situation and the powers that be (BSPA, SCB, ACU, whoever) just let him get away with it.
-
So why isn't he riding then? And what is his dads injury? Until we know when his dad was injured and what the injury is, it's hard to know how justified this "compassionate leave" is. I can assure you though if I was given compassionate league from work because my dad was ill but I went off to a different continent to me country I don't think my employer would be impressed! To get compassionate leave it's not unreasonable for an employer to ask for evidence - in this case I don't see how it's unreasonable for the SCB (is it they who ask for drs notes from riders?) to ask for Rod Norths drs notes and to determine if his injuries are life threatening or not. If not, it's one great big Poole scam.
