  1. It's probably as quick and easy to drive between Poland and the UK as it is Poland and Sweden! We may be an island but it's 2015 now! Personally I don't fancy doing either though and I doubt if many riders do!
  2. Exactly right. I went to the final last year at Poole thinking we could still win there despite losing at home (ok I was very wrong) and I'd say the same this year too. A 10 point lead would be lovely but any lead will be fine with me.
  3. Wasn't it the case that 7 or the 16 riders in Saturdays GP had not ridden Krsko before, so we have at least 7 new riders compared to 2 years ago. Plus this year we have Zmarzlik and Pawlicki. You can't have new blood for new bloods sake. It's a professional, World Championship and thus anyone who qualifies has the right to be in it even if they are old and boring like Hancock.
  4. PL average over 4 means he could not double up. But a PL average under 5 meant he could ride NL.
  5. More and more of the online forecasts are saying the weather should play ball. It may rain about 4-5pm but as long as they are ready for it, we should cope!
  6. Yes. If he pulls out before his 3rd ride they get IRR. Once hes completed a 3rd ride they cannot use IRR.
  7. Dodgy tyres, bigger carbs, dodgy fuel, bigger holes in silencers. And thats just me as a non-speedway person. Wasn't Smolis dodgy ignition system deemed illegal eventually and look how much that transformed him, EL reserve to GP winner in 12 months! Back to where he was before he started with it again now it's been banned.
  8. I was also anti-Cook if you read the post. Speak as I find, all clubs get stick off me when deserved. In fact Coventry probably get more than most! Everyone knows Swindon fiddled and Rosco admitted as much on Sky! As for rolling, watch the meeting back, its there for you to see yourself. It was shocking.
  9. He has raced a few meetings recently, maybe he fancies it now?!
  10. Swindon end of season do's must be a bit crap then as a few years ago Nicolai Klindt preferred to guest for Coventry than go to the Swindon end of season party!
  11. Probably because we all know Swindon were fiddling! As for Cook, it's a massive flaw in his riding. It's something I've commented on for a long time and why I just don't rate him. Easily moved out of the way in a race but won't do any moving over himself. Swindon were jumping and rolling like James Sarjeant on steroids on Monday! I commented on heat 14 at the time, just not on here!
  12. Did you have to check with Matt Ford what you think?
  13. The irony! There's nobody who is more easily lead than you!
  14. TBF we all know its not going to happen but he's be a great signing if it did for some weird reason happen.
  15. Great. Forecasts are not reliable. And your point is? Coventrys decision to postpone was the right one. If you point is that it safer to wait until closer to meeting time thats not an option due to Sky Sports and their costs of leaving it so late to postpone a meeting.
  16. I make his average 5.91. And as I made his average 6.02 at the end of last month too I'd say my figures are right on this one!
  17. Exactly. Boths teams top 2 by average (also number 1 by average and top draft rider) have been in the wars, both have the same worries now that Coventry have got Lindgren in for Joonas.
  18. I knew they were a bad bunch when they sacked Craig Watson in 2001! Not liked them since!
  19. Reading that interview made me smile. Even in the typed/printed word you can tell how enthusiastic the guy is - and it rubs off on the fans, is there a single Coventry or Sheffield fan that doesn't love having him in their team?
  20. When I first moved to Coventry half the time I supported the opposition. The last club I support as an away team before I become a full fledged Bees fan was BV - mainly because as a kid I remember trips to BV to see the Moran brothers. I remember sitting down to watch the first leg of the play-off final in 2005 at home and realising I was cheering for Coventry, which shocked me a little! BV have remained my 2nd EL team though - in the main their fans are a good laugh, over the years I've had some fun at Brandon and Kirky Lane with the BV fans. So I'd love a Bees vs Aces play-off final - I also think it's the Bees best chance of a win! I quite like Kings Lynn too. Again, decent bunch of fans (mind you, what club doesn't?! Even Poole fans are most decent). From the outside it seems like a reasonably well run club too.
  21. Teams withdrawing from the play-offs? Or was that only last year?!
  22. I accept it's frustrating but take the positives. You're not dead and buried and you're in with a good chance of some silver wear! 12 months ago it looked like you'd have nothing. I'm glad I get the opportunity for Mick Horton to mug me of an extra £2 on Friday for the EL play-offs! And I hope he can mug me of few more ££ in 2 weeks
