  1. So they ad,it theres a problem but leave the result as is?! What a farce.
  2. Went to grasstrack once, made speedway seem quick and efficient. It just seemed to drag and frankly the racing was pants. I'd love to go to Marmande for the longtrack GP though - apparently it's something pretty special.
  3. 2 meetings averaging 6.67? Compare that to Kennett(!!!!), King and Lawson. The latter two who are riding as heat leader. In one of his 2 EL meetings he beat Holder and Grazojnek - fair play, then only beat reserves after that for a score of 8. in the next one he beat Kim Nilsson twice and Rich Lawson once and a few reserves for a score of 7. Then his guest booking, he beat Fricke (x2), Stead and Nicholls in 6 rides. So a better meeting. I wouldn't be getting too excited about Hoawrth just yet.
  4. I'll be honest, I think combining Cradley and Birmingham is a little insulting. They may share a home track but they're two separate clubs and should be kept that way. I'm amazed Cradley and Birmingham have agreed to this mish-mash happening. Coventry could have ridden against a "NL select".
  5. But surely once they finished laying it,someone looked at it and said, "thats not right".Why wait until practice?
  6. How did it only become apparent just as practice was due to start that the track was rubbish? Surely someone must have noticed during the week.
  7. Still no statement. Imagine the fuss Darcy and his little gang would make if someone else hadn't made a statement.......
  8. As I mentioned above, private parking firms can't do anything about it other than sue you for trespass but good luck to them proving my being parked there an extra 30 minutes cost them anyway!
  9. Good. I like that. It's always seemed madness to me that a heatleader can score 000 but a second string who has an EF and a dodgy exclusion but has otherwise gone unbeaten could potentially not be allowed in heat 15!
  10. No, thats not true. As I mentioned on the Leicester vs BV I'm working no a project ATM that required me to produce a fixture list. So I knocked up some code that allowed me to put every clubs race day in for EL and PL clubs that then run off fixtures for EL and PL teams with no clashes for double up riders. It could very easily be modified to add proxy fixtures (basically fake meetings) where you have riders missing for dentist appointments, international meetings and the like. Adding NL to it wouldn't be that difficult either and I'm willing to bet that if I had all NL teams in my database I could in a few minutes run you off a full EL, PL and NL fixture list with minimal clashes (possibly even zero - bank holidays ruin the chance of zero though). The fact we have so many clashes is laziness. it CAN be avoided in about 95% of cases IMO.
  11. I think thats where Tai went wrong. Become World Champion, then Monster gave him that foul drink and look what it did to him? Caused him to suffer from fatigue during the season - oh the irony!
  12. Well I'm taking the approach of "ignore it and it'll go away" for now
  13. Howarth? Based on what? Averaging 5.5 in the PL. That puts him behind a few of them fast track riders you don't want.
  14. I disagree. If someone gets a Dr note on Wednesday to say they cannot do their job on Monday yet they then do their job elsewhere on Saturday and Sunday I think you have proof the drs note is a load of twaddle and you could probably, legally, ignore that dr note. And you could probably get that dr into trouble. And you'd be justified in disciplining the employee. It's impossible to prove a rider isn't pulling a fast one if they ride Sunday, get a dr note on Sunday then ride Tuesday. Then you have to trust the dr but if ASJ rides Sat and Sun but not Monday then it's wrong.
  15. Wolves want to win! If they lose at home to a cheating team they'll get no crowd the week after! It's simple, if he rides Sunday then the sick note becomes void as by riding he's self certified he's fit. Let's wait and see anyway, he might not ride Sunday.
  16. Can confirm this is true. They take a photo on the way in and way out. I have two loverly photos of my car from them - they'll be waiting along time for my £85
  17. Are you thinking of the EL where you can't use your reserves. PL (and I think NL) has always been top 3 scorers and top 3 in the averages as adz says.
  18. I know the rules of speedway. The Russians won Anyway, it's being taken further, I still think they've used a rule that's not relevant. It's not the first time Bet365 have messed up and I've had to go to IBAS about them!
  19. A barrel of laughs who makes a small profit betting no speedway. It's like saying, "I bet on a team to win by 10 but they only won by 9 due to the TR being used against them" - thats the rules, what what you're betting on. Maybe if I bet no Denmark and they finish last I can moan because I thought finishing last meant winning? Anyone betting one something that they don't have a grasp of the rules on it is a mug.
  20. So although I've not raced in an EL meeting I am qualifier to comment when a rider does well? But not when a rider does badly? Thats odd. Or bollocks.
  21. If someone bets on Denmark based on their top 2 they're a mug as they know that the 3rd rider could have a ride.
  22. Mortgage free me. And I own a dishwasher. All by the age of 30 too.
  23. TBF to him he has posted he loved tonight result! So I think we should leave him alone for tonight
