Somerset V Workington Koc 5 July
SCB replied to oldtimer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
Really? Give some exames of my criticism. Because I've not even done it on this thread. its true, if you fall off who's fault is it? Your own! How often do Gollob, Holder and Hancock fall off? -
Luke Crang looks the real deal, had good meetings on the IOW and Buxton. Two more different tracks you could not find.

Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?
SCB replied to bri1966's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Which reads to me that you change your team upto 30 minutes after practice. -
Exactly, always said this. It's a complete logic fail but then we're talking speedway promoters here so why expect anything better! After being told I should stop slagging off Tim Stone/Newport Speedway behind his back on the Internet I took the opportunity to chat to him in the bar one day and introduce myself. His answer? "Don't come if you don't like it", my mum never gave the guy a penny of her money again while I started going less and less until I started going to Coventry every week instead.

Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?

So what I said then! Teams don't have to be declared until 30 minutes after practice. What rule are you seeing that disagrees with this? -

Another amazing 6+2 for Kennett in the PL tonight. C'mon Middlo, do the right thing. -
Somerset V Workington Koc 5 July
SCB replied to oldtimer's topic in SGB Championship League Speedway
So Somerset got lucky because Workingtons riders can't keep their bikes going and crash? That's a lack of talent and skill from Workington. -
Have there been? Really? Every season since the Internet began we gave someone claim this year is the worst ever for injuries. It's not though, is it?

You think the promoters will bring in a rule that gives the rides more power than them? Nice try, it give me a giggle. I agree it should be a rule but it never will be.

As Ive said for a long time, Kennett knows one thing, go in wide and stay out there, unless there is a rider in front of him then he goes in wide and cuts back. Every time, never nay thing different. Easily moved around on track too. -
Hancock And Gollob When Will They Retire ?
SCB replied to racers and royals's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
You've got it the wrong way around. The refering to their ages is pointing out how they're doing a great job at their ages. Lets be honest, most riders at there age have dropped of the proverbial cliff. -
Who Should Be In Gb World Cup Team?
SCB replied to bri1966's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Whats being in reserve for to do with it? He only dropped points in to 1 rider other than the reserve race. -
Not just you, google doesn't seem to like searching for the Bspa site
-
Mistake? He's a 7 point EL rider. How many 16 and 17 year old Poles are riding in their top league? If you're good enough you don't need it.

My 4 year old niece will do he job for a packet of Harribo every week. She can pick her favourites too, just like Middlo. -

SCB replied to Northern Exile's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Good job they've not gone with Worrall, he'd stand no chance against that bottom 3. Oh no, wait! -
How embarrassing for Lambert, 6 fastest times of the night and ruins the whole thing with a slower time in heat 15 He's surely not going to bother with the PL next year?
-
And thats the scary thing! What they prefer to do is go on twitter and slag off the fans. Yeah, great idea, because that'll get them to turn up won't it! i wonder how many fans have stopped going over the years because they've been slagged off by promoters and management?

As you say, about the same but Kennett is a bottler when it comes the big occasion. Just look at his heat 15 record in the EL. Why do you think his EL average swings from 6.5 to 8 every season? It's because he has a season as a teams top 2 ride and has to ride in heat 15, then a season as 3rd heatleader so doesn't have to ride in heat 15.... what has he ever done in the SWC? What he has ever done outside of the UK? Kennett will never amount to anything. I don't believe Barker will either but Worrall stands half a chance, Bridger has had some good meeting in Poland and King has had some decent meetings in Sweden in the past. I would have give Worrall chance just to see what it's all about and see what he has to do to actually complete with the big boys. no good giving Kennett another chance to fail. i wouldn't have bothered with Harris either. We're finishing 3rd at Lynn whoever rides. -
Value For Money Speedway Vs Grasstrack
SCB replied to michaelcroucher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
I went to a grass track meeting about 5 years ago. An OK afternon out but frankly, the racing was non-existant. Paul hurry and Andrew Appleton shot off for wins while some no hoper rolled around at the back all well spread out. The novelty wore off after about 12 heats and I couldn't wait to go home. Not for me, not even if it was a fiver if I'm honest. -
You know you're going to be accused of telling old people to bugger off and die now don't you?
