Sadly I don't think Klindt is the answer. He'll score 6 in the Premiership, 6 in the Championship and 6 in the NL. Basically he gates 50% of the time and is gone but misses it 50% of the time and can't pass wind. I've never rated him even when everyone had him down as a future GP rider. Nothing about him at all. Dull to watch and frustrating too. I've also made no secret of the fact I don't think much of Mason Campton. Bewley on the other hand, WOW! The kid just amazes me every time I see him, I love watching him race and young Kyle I was dubious about, 12 months ago I said to friends something along the lines of, "I've never seen him pass anyone. He's so good at U15 level out the start it's just too easy and that may be the worst thing thats ever happened to him as he'll bottle it when he has to mix it on the first bend now" well you know what? I was totally wrong from the videos I've seen of him in the NL, he CAN gate but when he doesn't he mixes it. I honestly think Comets fans will be spoilt watching these two get better and better each week. I know how much I loved watching Andrew Appleton and Chris Neath at Newport in 2000/2001 get better all the time - it's nice to win but it's more of a buzz seeing that lad you remember as a junior/second halfer/unknown/kid on the terraces racking up them points. I honestly hope Workington have a great season because when it comes to passionate supporters, over the years I've not met many more passionate than the Workington lot. I spent a fair bit of time up there during the 2005 season and I loved it. It would be a crying shame to see all that passion fizzle out and a club close down.

It's quite cute that you think people might get a reply. Bless. BTW, nobody gets a reply.

Stop trying to drag the sport forward and promote it. It just can’t work, a few people on here have said so. Themed cafe/bars? Don’t be silly!

A Wednesday is great for me. Yay! Should see me at far more meetings in 2018 than I managed in 2017 thanks to this.
-
I’m not sure this team is that great but I think having two local lads is a huge thing. I wonder if promoters realise how much people like seeing local hero’s being made? Fingers crossed both have smashing years, tbh there’s no reason they shouldn’t.

That’s just not true. People making up fake rules that eventually people think are true confuses things. Only this week we’ve had the “fact” on here, twitter and Facebook that Doyle only rides here so he can get a visa to ride in Poland. It’s now become some sort of fact but it’s not even for a grain of truth. Someone posted it in an authoritative way and now it’s “true”. Happens all the time. Which rules contradict? Should be easy for you (or anyone) to answer because there’s too many of them apparently.

Oops yeah, I appear to have looked at his average with bonus points. Does make his signing a bit odd.

Use of Stadium/Speedway and it’s failing to win support

In Newport we have banger racing (St Brides) and Autograss (Magor) and like you say, if there’s more than 100 there then I’m amazed, and also like you say it strikes me that it’s mostly the competitors family. Been to both, they drag on and it’s boring and tedious. How I imagine speedway newbies feel. Stock cars at Coventry and Birmingham Wheels is something else though. Enjoyed it both times but it’s not just local fans, because there’s so few stock car meetings in the U.K. people travel for miles. If speedway only had 4 speedway meetings a month then I’m sure 10-15,000 would turn up where ever it was taking place that night - mostly a weekend too. -
Trust me, they're not. I've had this discussion with a few people recently who are adamant that a British Visa/work permit gets you one for the continent. What you have said makes sense. The first part of the quoted post from adonis says it's about getting a visa for Poland.

Did you complain about Covatti starting last season as a heat leader having been in reserve part of the season before? As for losing #1 Masters and not replacing him. I make it, that with bonus points that Ricky Wells was Edinburgh number 1 in 2017 anyway, without bonus points it was a tie, with or wothout bonus points he was a better away rider. I fact, at present, there are only 3 riders with a higher average than Ricky Wells in the Championship! (Worrall, King and Morris). There are only 11 with a higher average than Erik Riss too and he's improving at quite a rate. Mark Riss while not a great 3rd heat leader did have a last 10 meetings average higher than his final average so his form is going the right way too. I'd suggest that while this Edinburgh team doesn't look like favourites for the league it'll be another teams that strong at home and can pull it out of the bag a few times away from home. If one of the lower order riders does click (and they'll basically have 5 riders that they'll be hoping could become the 3rd heatleader) then it could be a very good team.

Sarj achieved that average in the Elite League. The Elite League is no more. It was scrapped a new league was introduced that initially used Premier League averages before using Premier League/Championship averages divided by 1.2. Why should Sarj have to use his old EL average when nobody else with a PL/Championship average has to? Riders no longer keep their old averages if they switch league but get a conversion now - we could argue for hours if this is right or wrong, personally I think it's right, riders should always sued their most current average.

People are obsessed with this. God knows where it’s come from. It’s not true and it doesn’t even make any bloody sense. Polish visas have nothing to do with British visas, even if they somehow did, I think being World Champion would be enough for Doyle to get a visa in any country he likes!
-
He’s 19. I don’t think some people appreciate how good he is for a 19 year old. He lad is a bit special, he has his flaws but he’s at least trying to better himself riding in Poland and Sweden. It’s weird when Craig Cook kept hanging around in the PL/Championship we critisised him for a lack of ambition.

Tai Woffy filming on tv Dec 18th Clare Balding show

"Cardiff" Which is not different to, "So Lewis (Hamilton), if fans want to see you race this season when and how often?" "Just the once at Silverstone" Really don't see the point some people are trying to make here. -
It's weird how when someone posts they heard a rumour on here and it turns out not to happen people scream, "YOU WAS WRONG, HaHaHaHaHa" as if it wasn't the plan all along but it failed for some reason. These people lives must be so meticulously organised that nothing ever changes that it's boring. Plans change, why shouldn't this one have changed?

TBF, Somerset wanted Chris, Chris wanted to be at Somerset. Matt Ford didn't want Chris at Somerset so it didn't happen. Certainly if what I'm told is true and I've no reason to disbelieve this.
-
The delay? Probably been told their team is over the limit. Clegg is not a 2.
-
Which I believe if what it will be. Riders don't keep old averages when they achieve a new one in another league.
-
Just seen Mitchell Davey has signed. What a waste of a signing. Just about any 16 year old Brit would have been better simply because in the short term they can be no worse and at least they're not 28(?) year old and as good as they're ever going to get. The 16 year old might one day make it, Mitchell Davey is a NL level rider and has been since he first rode in this country.
-
Didn’t bail out? They sacked him because he walked out of a meeting feigning injury after causing rubbish in the pits. But yeah, whatever.
-
Kennett was signed on 10 and got 10 at home so he wasn’t a bonus or a perk. Signing him on a little over 6 to get 10 at home is a huge advantage. And without the pressure of riding at 1 (, 3 or 5) he’ll get more than 4 away too. Kennett is a smashing signing for Rye House. He should get his average up towards 8 at Rye in this league. The rest of the (suggested) team is frankly bleugh.

If you mean Poole half-arsed attempt you're wrong. It's not good enough. The text scrolls, the result should be on the board 100% of the time.
-
It's utterly weird. I just don't get it. This obsession speedway has with filling in a programme doesn't help it's reputation - and I run a site dedicated to the stats of the sport!
-
I just hope that doesn't mean no more snazzy, 21 century style graphics on their twitter account because I'm loving them at the moment!

Thats actually not true at all. KK is in fact quite cheap so I've been told
