  1. The rulebook says.... When the 2 minutes expired Masters was looking down at his bike 40 foot from the tapes.
  2. http://www.speedway-stats.co.uk/Averages/2015/2 2015 PL.Worrall 8.35 and Newmnan 7.63
  3. Worrall has had a higher PL average the last 2 season. Worralls EL average is 8.52 but hes ridden 4 away meetings only, Newmans away average is 9.33 from 2 away meeting - one of them at his best performing away track in the EL. I'd just give Newman the nod at the moment but I'm not sure theres a lot in it at EL level.
  4. He certainly was in one of his heats last night. Can't say I noticed either way in his other heats but I don't think he switched bikes.
  5. Just stayed up to watch the repeat and in heat 12 Sam Masters gets his bike running 2 minutes and 25 seconds AFTER the two minute warning!
  6. Bech drops to reserve next week. I make Wolves team by order of average next week to be Joonas, Freddie, Jacob, Masters, Howarth, Bech, Clegg/Morris
  7. After tonights meeting, according to my maths, Josh Bates goes into the 1-5 from next week and Kacper drops to reserve. Should actually give us a bit of a sting in reserve if he takes to Lakeside (don't laugh!) or BV (far more likely)
  8. Your agenda is whats good for Poole and not whats good for British Speedway. So excuse us if we ignore anything you have to say.
  9. So you think it's acceptable that half the EL promoters are not happy but not one of them had the balls to stand up and say, "this is wrong" and if they did nobody else backed them when it was blindingly obvious it was wrong? If these are the people running the sport we're doomed. As for judge him in 2017, he has to deal with the fall out or riders averaged being messed up due to riding as heat leaders, second strings or reserves. Possibly no Leicester, Coventry or Swindon. Good luck to him! Also, why do we never hear from Chapman? It always Cook or Godfrey who are carted out for a quote or two. He promised us transparency but 6 months in and we've had almost none - I accept we had some this week with the Cook/Peterborough move (even if it was flawed)
  10. So you're telling me that the man they voted in as new chairman didn't have the respect of the other promoters to be able to stand up and say, "FFS, this is a joke"? It didn't have to be him either, how have the EL managed to mess up so badly when 50% of promoters are so pissed off? And do we know what CVS, Ford, Cook and Morton/Gordon are thinking privately?
  11. One of the most frustrating riders I've ever supported. As you say, has a cracking style and when in front can just go. I've also seen him pass some decent, top rider but then be sat behind a relative nobody. Depends on his mood it seems.
  12. I can certainly see Alans thinking. And I actual think I agree with it. But once again the intent and spirit is not quite what is written. But you can't rule on spirit but on actual written rules.
  13. That he is getting out but rather than cutting his nose off to spite his face and closing down the club he has built from nothing he's letting his wife take charge for a few months. Bear in mind Hemsley has always been an, "it's my club....." man!
  14. What amazes me is that with so many promoters moaning about decisions making since the AGM how nobody stood up and said, "look, we're making a pigs ear of this". So far Hemsley, Chapman, Rosco and Horton (half the EL including BSPA chairman) have said the whole thing is a farce, things were rushed or they're disillusioned. Still, all part of the great new era for Chapman and his band of merry men.
  15. Christ, if whoever is doing the job now is worse than Ken has been in the last 10 years it must be bad as he was terrible!
  16. Distance wise it's probably pretty irrelevant if you're walking from the 1st/2nd bend. It's more the fact it's out of the way. It's the only thing you'd head that way for. It's not by the buses, trains, pubs or shops
  17. Turns out he's part of your squad. Which means I want to know how the bloody hell that works. Coventry (quite rightly really) couldn't use Squad rider Ben Barker for Woryna as his average was higher but Wolves can use their squad rider replace Clegg despite having a higher average and a higher draft ranking!
  18. I believe he bought the club midway through his first season.
  19. Wouldn't care less. I'd have paid what I was told I would be paying. Why are people getting so upset that others are getting a discount too? Why would it matter? In what way would I have lost out? If anything I'd be pleased that others could benefit too. A bigger issue for me is not the cost of entry, it's Wolves #7. Ash Morris replaced Max Clegg. I have 2 issues here, 1. Ash Morris has a higher PL average and draft position so he CANNOT guest for him. 2. How the bloody hell are you allowed a guest for a rider who is riding in the NL?
  20. Anyone who paid £12 to save £7 didn't need to be duped, they're clearly mathematically retarded!
  21. It just feels like speedway should feel at Lakeside. Trying to be professional but you just sort of know it's not. But nice, almost "lovely", Reading always felt that way for me too. Where as Poole feel very professional and I can't fault it but it's not got that speedway feel to it and I have no idea what that is. Lakeside really come on massively in the first couple of years of the Douglas/Cook era.
  22. Anyone who went to the Storm meeting is saving £7. Just because that was one deal doesn't mean they can't have others.
