That was never said. And if it was it was by people who got the wrong end of the stick. Some of us knew he'd be allowed back around about now
-
Do you really have to ask? I went to a meeting where because your promoter is a jealous, lousy prick I had to watch a team with just 6 riders meaning 3 heats only had 3 riders. My team lost because your promoter used his privileged position to screw up Coventrys team declaration and declare him in his own team. My club just sat back and allowed it to happen. Just what is the point when crap like that is happening?
-
Hopefully 75-15. Give us a few more points to play with in a couple of weeks time. And Lynn a bit less to play with when Troy is back
-
Except it's not is it. What about the years I lived in Coventry and even managed to travel to away meetings?! And Newport home meetings?! Or the previous time I lived back in Wales but still made it to Coventrys home meetings. We have these amazing things now, called cars. It means you can travel long distances in a short time. Amazing things really. I stopped going to away meeting at the start of 2011 after the rubbish in the winter and stopped going altogether after the Kildemand saga. These are facts.

There you go people, don't have opinion of your own. ask starman what you think, he knows better than you do. And there me thinking I gave up on the sport after Matt Ford signed Kildemand by text and I had to watch a 6 riders team complete a meeting which resulted in 3 heats with only 3 riders. But no, it's because I live in Wales. Clearly in starman World thats miles from anywhere!

I don't go because of Ford and the way the BSPA/SCB let him get away with crap. That proved BWitchers point.

Sadly Im busy this weekend. I say busy but I mean working. And by working I mean sitting in a studio watching Only Connect being recorded - it's a hard life! -
Premier League V Elite League
SCB replied to Shale Searcher's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Where as I'd prefer to see riders of similar standard racing and if that means 6 riders in the team and 4 of them take an extra ride that works for me. Why 7 riders? It's an arbitrary figure. There are 15 heats with 2 riders in each so why not 30 riders in a team? Why is 6 bad for you but 7 good? -

EL is better than the PL. PL is better than the EL. Who cares? Speedway in this country is a mess regardless of the level! -
Since when was not agreeing a deal with a rider a sign a promoter is a bad egg? Typical. We're discussing Poole cheating and the BSF has gone off on a pointless tangent about something totally not relevant. If it was any other promoter nobody would care, so what? Matt Ford did what he had to do to win, what exactly did he do wrong?
-
As far as I'm aware as yet Monster Energy are not making the rules to screw over Nicki and everything is equal though. Most of that is pantomime stuff that adds to the whole thing IMO.
-
That's the worst bit of negotiating ever.
-
Hardly conveniently omitted. Lee Richardson having ridden for Poole hardly changes the fact you cheated. And it's poor to use the fact he had raced for you before to justify cheating. And the rulebook has always made it clearly that teams can't agree to ignore the rules. So it doesn't matter if Lakeside did agree to it, it was still cheating. It's even worse that they knew they were doing it and this is proof they knew they were if what you say is correct. He was injured the week before, but he pulled out on the parade. Make no difference if it was 6 weeks or 6 seconds before the meeting started either.

Back in the day there used to be a website with an extensive, well maintained list that most speedway site were on and used on their own links page. Sadly, unless I've missed it no such thing exists.

Touche! Technically correct
-
Poole had Masters and Ludvig Lindgren. When using MAsters by average he rode in the 1-5 but Lindgren rode in reserve. Lindgren was riding in the Swedish final (as were Dennis Andersson and Ricky Kling). Poole used R/R for Andersson and had Mateusz Szczepaniak guest for Kling. Masters failed a last minute fitness test, meaning that technically, Lindgren then took over so the guest was for him BUT that meant the guest should be in reserve and Kling (Mateusz Szczepaniak) should have moved to number 2. But Poole used a guest for Masters, not Lindgren in the 1-5.
-
The thing is, some of them things were just petty moaning. Miedzinski facility at Lynn - rules said it was allowed, even if it was stupid and the 5-0 "farce". But it never got in the paper about Poole cheating a grieving Lakeside days after Lee Richardsons death.
-
They basically do when assessing foreigners for the EL.
-
Auty still only has 1 away meeting but 2 home. Starke had 2 and 2 but only as of Saturday, so comes into effect this Saturday. For Leciester meetings at Lynn and vs Lynn next Thursday and Saturday Paul Starke will be in the 1-5. Auty will get an average after the Lynn meeting made up of his 3 meetings so far and the Lynn away meeting (so Wednesday doesn't count for his 2 H and 2A)
-
Wouldn't it have made more sense to have done that 3-4 weeks ago? Rather than try and patch up. Would have give the track 5-6 weeks to settle then. Rather than constantly trying to rush and bodge?!
-
7 pages before Starman comes in and ruins it. Ironic then that he should claim that we all ruin discussion.

YES! Finally one of my random guesses was right. Unlucky Leicester, because Summmers is not more than a 3 point man as a heat leader so makes naff all difference.
