Looks as if Birmingham are on there way to meet the Eagles, can't wait to see this meeting.
-
What is he man or mouse lol, BWD will come back as soon as he can and he just loves to race his bikes, lucky he has the weekend off and will be back on the bike for the NT Cup i hope. I see Tom Brennan won the 250cc British championship last week, The first bit of silver ware for the IT First and the Eagles. Roll on 2 weeks time hopefully for the next one.

Your right countershaft. Billion laps maybe a little lie in that and not a true fact but we get your point

Eastbourne started with 2 riders who never raced in this league, Dugard only done youth and woods never been on a speedway bike till March 2015. Hats off too all concerned as they started off with nothing at a level they never knew who was who. Best season I have had in speedway. Ko cup final NT final. Gold Cup final. 2nd in the league. Not bad for the first season.

End of the season soon so why waste money on more grip. All that happens is Wednesday nights and the firework meeting at Arlington all the dirt gets washed away in the stock car racing nights. Also a very unusual warm September in Sussex too warm for this time of year. Also noticed no only Connor Dugard and Paul Dugard were there yesterday.

Well done to all the Eastbourne them today. Even Ben Hopward with his win impression of machine gun xxx love you ben

Birmingham Brummies 2015
catinthehat replied to ProudtobeaBrummie's topic in National League Speedway
Nobody can blame Harvie for his lack of meetings, If he was not well or was told to rest no rules where broken and its the game of speedway. Sometimes it works for the club and sometimes it works against the club, Dury was right and did was was best for Birmingham Speedway and what was best for Harvie. Birmingham won the league regardless of who they used and well done to them, Whho knows they may go on to win some more silveware? Wining the League is a little bit of luck and a lot of encouragement from everyone, Eastbourne only just lost out but thats the way it goes, Bring on the Gold Cup, and leave Harvie alone its hard enough sport when your down, at least Harvie has not put anywhere what he is going to do or will do in the future. -
mmmm nice one Alex lol, just making sure what we say is right and bingo it seems to be spot on at the moment, Anyway Alex are you going to the next few meetings?
-
Give Niall a rest i think by reading what he has put in twittter that he his keeping his head down for the next few weeks. wonder why. Nice kid heart of gold but not really in the real world when it comes to his racing, If i was Niall i sell all my speedway equipment and keep the van and go and enjoy some form of go karting or something that has a restricion on cost. He would love it and use his speedway knowlege to get him on the track just got to remember that elbows down as the air drag on the karts.

Weather looks great for the weekend wont have to water at Rye House and a little bit down on Sunday at Arlington, cant wait to see what the scores are, BWD is always good and we have Andrews and Dugard picking up the points, Woods seems to like the number 2 Jacket and Spiller and Owen make a good pair leave Ben Hopwood to collect as many points as he can again and he looks the best i have seen him for a few years. Roll on the Weekend

Just ask a member of the management. Then see if I am right or wrong xxxx

Think you will find that Matt and Charlie Powell both have signed for Eastbourne, thats why matt was able to practice during the season when they had some training, Verge, Cousins, Shepard are kents secret weapons they make sure that kent wont win anything with them in the team, Bit like Niall if he has his chance he make sure Eastbourne wouldnt win a thing either. When are the School Holidays in Germany, will big spiller talk to little spiller to see if he wants to come and ride for that week, 23rd October is my Kids Holiday back November 2nd wonder if germany is the same? also would be a good look to see if he wants to race in the Eagles colours, The way the team have been looked after i cant see no reason why he wouldnt want too. Long shot but worth a look, seems that another 3 point rider will turn up on the Eagles books Let have a look at it considering there is not a 3 pointer out there so Len Silver and others have said. Dugard = 3 points to over 4 Woods = 3 points to over 6 D Spiller = 3 points to over 7 E Spiller = 3 points C Powell = 3 points Matt Sauley = 3 points

Rye House V Eastbourne - 19th September

Lucky he had his air jacket on, When it went pop he looked like Ben Hopwood. -
My local delivery boy on his scooter could pass Niall up the inside on his rev and go scooter, Lets not knock Niall too much as i had a big moan about him but i still feel as strongly as i do, his is as pants as they come. Why does not Niall go into media, Sponsorship, or just a Fans offical joker. Niall Strudwick you wrote in the speedway star that you wanted harder races for the second half and then you had your arse whipped, You then went on to say you wanted to try and be in the team, you have been given 3 meetings and have only had 3 points from 12 races. Dont put your head on the chopping block and say things in the media if you cant back it up and it makes fans like myself upset. Talk is cheap get on the track and do some stuff.
-
I would not like to go back up to any other league, PL is as bad as the EL, I am happy at grass roots, The good thing is with this racing you dont know who is going to win, Crash, Breakdown, and most of all Pass, its not like the EL where you know the number one on most outiings it going to win, this is the best and happiest the club has been for years and maybe thats what they should stay with, Maybe they will get the British Final next year as an independant track take it away from Wolverhampton.

The problem is Alex i do night shift work so i do get wound up when i get home, Out of work to get the kids ready then to relax and some sleep before the gremlins get home, and the biggest bug bear i have is some guy who thinks he is a speedway rider pumping himself up, Niall cant even pump an air bed up. Time for some shut eye for me lol

I read on Niall facebook that he said "After a busy weekend, unfortunatlry not getting the points i had hoped for on sunday but i rode hard and well to score come away with a point but the whole team never gave up." This was Niall effort at MDL, so only picking up a point there and struggling the night before when he was lapped, also he had so many falls he should really think about getting envolved in another aspect of the sport, maybe base jumping where you have to be at a certain height where you cant do half meassures as your doing at the moment. After the short love affair with the American girl who then went out and whipped his arse at Eastbourne, Time for someone to be brave and tell him staight, Niall your never going to make it at a level that you talk about, I am just trying to save you from yourself. If i was to show my mates the media coverage that you put out and them come along and watch you race my mates would think i would need some mental help thinking that you are good. Time to smell the coffee Niall give up. And somthing that really got to me the other night was you rode against Eastbourne and was shown your true racing colours, you then went on the victory lap with the Eastbourne team? the burn out you tried to do was pants and the track staff had to get out the way as you took off towards him. wheel spinning your wheel when you did your burn out went much faster then when you ride around the track. I also read that if you didnt make it this year your give up. If thats the case then let me know when your bikes are for sale as i know they have not been raced and will be worth a bit more as they have just been run in.

Not sure if its a wind up or not but i heard that Daniel Spiller had fallen over at the airport and was going for an xray on his arm, i was told that his flight was late or he was late for his his flight and he came together with another passanger and hurt his arm, must be bad to have an xray? hope he is ok for the Rye House at the weekend. Just Eastbournes luck they have to run niall Strudwick, I rather Spiller road with his arm in Plaster, he will look like Niall when he rides with his arms up in the air. so is there any news on Spiller, dont want to have R/R for him as he is one of our secret weapons along with BWD and Hopwood and Woods and the rest of the team. Maybe that the crash from Buxton that he is going for an xray on his arm?

Eastbourne were beaten in a few matches away from home :0), with Dugard, BWD, Woods, never every seeing some of the tracks and now spiller so it was going to happen, but have to say they have all done well, lets hope the team for next year is going to be even better. -
Ok that's good news for spiller. Who's bike was it. Bikes can be fixed quickly but bones can't. In good hands bike can be turned around in a day if you have the parts. I did see spiller on Brennan's bike at Kent and Eastbourne?
