Missed Buxton today as other important things on my mind. Good to see the Eagles win away from home. What's up with spiller hope he is ok.

Strudwick was poor last night and to race against the Eagles then go on a lap of honour with them was a joke. Does Niall not see that ever point he was given was because of crashes. Now the league title cant be won does that mean that Spiller wont be here for the rest of the league meetings? As i now plan to go and watch the boys at Buxton on Sunday and make a full weekend of speedway

Looks like the club have gone ahead they must know how important it is to the riders fair play to them, Hope they are here for the weekend, does it say when they will arrive? such an impact for £1 for a few meetings and all given to the riders not the management i think thats what you call a peoples club.

Brendan Johnson saga seems to have been a blessing for the Eagles, Nice guy like Strudwick also very good on the media but lacked the bit that mean most is the racing. Eastbourne have looked after all the riders and have to say they always seem to be working harder on and off the track, we know that speedway is a hard game and means you have to be on your game a lot more but this year has flown past for the supporters, all you have to do is look ourside the box. because he also has a life outside speedway as does Andrews and Woods, and others, Maybe BWD is going home to study? nothing says that you cant do it in the league or work comittments, but who would be 100% behind them like he has done all year he has big boots to step into only dropping a few points all year at home. I think BWD will be here till the End of Eastbournes matches.

Thats true but in i take back that comment, NL pairs winners which both boys rode well in, but as a club Len has played it safe all year and not really looked at whats best for the club, Have to say its the fastest run meetings in the league, but it does not seem to have the connection with any of the riders they all seem like numbers to Len not racers, Eastbourne are in their season and could possible win some silverware and at the start of the season had no team or riders which they owned? All borrowed and built up a great speedway team, all unknown riders in Dugard Woods and BWD. All a good year so far. Dont think brad has his flights booked as he was saying he was going home via the USA and then onto the GP in Australia. His dads birthday is same time as end of season awards so he wont be home for that and i think the way the fixtures are we could be racing till the end of october, thats what happens when you have a club that makes all the finals, Shame its not happened in the last 15 years but at least we are not going down to the Dumps like Kent have been in the last few years, Have to say a great season by all the riders at Eastbourne its been a great pleasure to support them.

Rumour has it that Richard Andrews is hurt again taking an unfortunate blow to his shoulder at Eastbourne when his front wheel collapsed and he was thrown to the floor. Heard on the jungle drums that for the Final against Rye House the NT Trophy was that little Spiller Ethan is coming over as another 3 pointer English passport holder to rider for Eastbourne or they have to you Niall Strudwick if Richard is not fit. All a rumor at the moment but really I like to see Andrews up on his feet again, Maybe we can all put our hands in our pockets for a new front wheel for him.

Looking at the BSPA fixture list is was changed a few weeks ago? Eastbourne knew about it for a While but for some reason it was flagged up as Buxton had not put it out to the media. Shame these things happen. Maybe you could go up and support Eastbourne for the day if everything is booked or become a hitman supporter. Like you said its a beautiful part of the Country when its dry.

Season does not finish until the end of October. Brad I am sure is aware of it. Flights can be booked to suit fixtures if not we can use almost anyone to replace him if he has to go home early for any reason. Maybe a job interview lol

Why does anyone have to prove anything? What do you want a report from Eastbourne to say where was Peter paramedic or a report from Andrew aeroplane to say when it landed or terry the taxi driver to see what time spiller got off his grove jet. If you saying that foul play was going on why did the ref not do anything about it? Oh he can't as Peter paramedic was saving a life else where. Also Eastbourne could get the paramedic to write anything they wanted if it was foul play. Sometimes you have to accept that a paramedic is not going to hold up a sporting event for no reason other then an emergency.

double header for what reason? would it just not be nice to win a meeting and get some silver ware lol if we are lucky.

great meeting last night, Slight delay but pushed the meeting on well. Speedway at night looks so much better and no dust prroblems, Spiller roder well, BWD was outstanding, Owen looked the fastest all season Dugard was better and didnt look like he was going to crash and Hopwood broke the track record. Georgie just had a bad day in the office but the rest of the team looked after him, Richard was unlucky for a wheel to fall apart causing him to crash in his ride while on a paid win. But they race as a team and thats what teams do look after every body.

Possible to save Eastboure Speedway ?

Great win tonight by the Eagles Dugard Spiller Owen all looking good tonight and super fast Hopwood. Great show by all the team.

Too right but look at it another way as always 2 sides to every story. Spiller was in Germany and Niall was in the Team all agreed. Spiller German meeting gets cancelled and makes his way to Eastbourne. Agreed Eastbourne look weak at reserve and with out knowing the result at Mildenhall when Spiller left Germany Eastbourne was always in with a shout for the league so they were just making sure they had covered all bases. Which is more then Eastbourne have done in the past. ( maybe Kent should do more of it ) How would Strudwick feel if he was in the team at number 6 and Kent went on to beat Eastbourne. Apart from a great win for Kent it would look as if Niall would have let his team down and dumped them out the league. That would be soul destroying for Niall and possible career ending. This was all possible at 5pm on Sunday when Spiller landed. But again none of this happened. But could have As far as spiller arrived for heat 2 was about 10 minutes after the paramedic and heat 1 had already finished timing could not have been any better but if spiller was any later then I am sure he would have missed his first ride. As he was always going to do his rides well. As far as I am aware and was informed the paramedic was called out and had to prioritised being late by 20 minutes or saving someone's life. I know what I would do. As you said the club have done so much positive work this year why would you doubt that what happened was the truth. 20 minute delay for a paramedic and a life saved. or as you have put it waiting for spiller to arrive? I think it's better you keep you post up to show how bitter you become. Martin Dugard was Spillers mechanic and when he was asked where is he his reply was he should have been here by 7.20.pm so going back to the paramedic he was always going to be late regardless of where spiller was. I don't think the promotion have to prove anything to anyone. spiller could have been earlier and sat around like everyone else waiting for the paramedic but as he was late and almost missed his first ride. The paramedic could have walked through five minutes Earlier and spiller would have missed his ride. so i guess you being bitter and trying to blame someone who was saving a life is more important to you then the reputation of a club that you dont suport, Eastbourne fans were left waiting 15 minutes at kent the lasat meeting for the paramedic? nobody complained about that. Niall is a nice guy but he is never going to make it in the NL, he is ok in the MDL and is a big hitter but thats about it, He is Eastbournes number 8 means he will get a ride when and if they need him. If it was football Niall turns up every week with clean boot and trains well but cant kick a ball hard enough to make a pass. Would you honesly put the guy in the Team if the league depended on it. Alex Furguson wouldn't. I am sure Eastbourne have explained it all to Niall a hard pill to swallow but maybe a reality check for him also. Reports have been 15 years on a 500cc and not a lot of improvement, as far as i can see he has good equipment so thats not the problem. ( maybe a shoter throttle cable ) or a very quick action throttle needed as the other 7 riders have them. I like the way Eastbourne is run thinking of the riders, Georgie who had grass track during the day that was running late so he was late to the track, Thinking about fans when there is a GP on the TV so there is a lot of planning going on. Len silver is the master of little plans, I was told in the world final at Wembley because the track dried out much faster then len thought he put it out across the PA system that there was a certain package planted in the staduim please check under your seats. This was a full staduim that was held up for 45 minutes. ( not sure if its true ) but i believe my information is correct. Kings1st i think its a bit harsh trying to blame a paramedic for being late who was on duty. Also the paramedic turned up before Spiller? Do you really think there is a small advantage to be gained a life saved, Kent had already given up before they arrived as they had won the Pairs so thats great news for them but was as a team in a different class last night. What would have happened if Georgie Wood had scored more? or would that have been the paramedics fault also? and there is no truth in the rumor that the Paramedic collected spiller from the Airport

Also with BWD, Owen, Morley, Shanes, all need to clean the equipment by Sunday midday if they need to travel, So more of a good time for the riders to make it a later start and clear the fixtures.

They cant run it on a Saturday as its the Best pairs at Kings Lynn means no Owen or BWD also no Shanes or Morley? thats why they cant do Saturday Also he was noted how quick they run the last meeting against Birmingham was done and dusted by 9.15pm and could even cut a bit more off of that if parade is at 7.20 first race at 7.30pm Bob not on his tractor be done by 8.45pm lol
