  1. Pressure of the No1 position lifted off his shoulders, now we will see what TJ is capable of
  2. Not me, that lad wanted to come to Berwick, our club missed a massive opportunity in this young rider. I wish Berwicks track was prepared to the same standard as Scunnys, just imagine where Berwick would be in the league
  3. LOVE IT LOVE IT Pam & Dave (Cara House) just gone past shop, shouted out of car window. OFF TO FETCH SEB, FROM HOSPITAL Says he's miussing Pams cooking.
  4. Same here big fan of Ben, just not what Berwick needs, unless someone can come up with a rich seam of gold to sponsor new gear for him. The way ahead this late, is look for new blood, and hope they come good for the future. A big thank you to Theo Pjiper for his persistance in pushing for Romano Hummel
  5. Not many good riders who would commit mid season, or arn't involved in under 21s. What is available are riders who are under performing for what ever reason, be it equipment or be it other reasons. Berwick, unlike Glasgow do not have sponsorship available to help a rider through is woes.
  6. Me too, I like Ben, but he is not what Berwick needs at the moment.
  7. Chris was the only rider that described to me the problem a visiting rider had with the 2nd corner, after his expanation I had a much better understanding
  8. You forgotten the time Chris Kerr came off 4 times on the second bend, Mind those were the days when Berwick had a race track that visiting teams dreaded. oh ! the goold old days
  9. If you are travelling up to Berwick, weather is great, forecast is good forb tonight. Have a safe journey
  10. Hes had operation this morning, time now for a long recovery. I believe he is chirpy under the circumstances,
  11. Yes, and he could have signed instead of Bager if they had takenn Theos reccomendation when he gave it , if that had happened he would now be settled into the team. I believe we only lose him once against Rye House to Long Track world championship.
  12. Agree, never quite understand how Bager was in any equation
  13. Have listened to Theo Pjiper about him, and I trust his judgement, certainly worth a punt.
  14. Not an easy decision, but you have to take a risk, and this years line up really didn't have a lot of hope from the beginning, at very best 8th or 9 th, looks likely now not to be even that good. So well done for taking a risk, especially if he becomes a new asset.
  15. Simple to do, get a block of people into your mind say 25 or 50 and simply block count, you will be within 5 %to 10% of heads. The difficulty at Berwick is assessing how many kids are in that count who get in for free, a good thing for the future, but it reduces your paying customer by about 20/25% on the night. I would say that the crowds are not significantly up this season, ands certainly not in the last 2 meetings, the clubs strength this season has been the corporate side, it is noticable the amount of advertising banners compared to previous seasons, and also the hospitality is well up on last season ,
  16. The answer, find out what the problem is with Holub, sort it out and help him. He has the potential, have seen him ride some very good meetings
  17. Only what riders and directors told me In all honesty I hope proves you wrong.
  18. No one from the club has made a statement about Sat. info comes from several riders. Romano Hummel is a 17yr old Dutch rider, been doing OK on continent. Theo Pjiper is bringing him over, for club to see him ride.
  19. I believe Romano Hummel is coming over for closed practice meeting, we can live in hope thyat someone apart from his mentor sees the potential.
