So Berwick's averages were in the top 8 but didn't qualify because Barker and Vissing were injured, Peterborough had Allen injured and Lambert, Konopka and Grondal were ineligible but still got in? what a load of s**** the next team down should be in it and ai don't blame Peterborough btw as it is the BSPA who have allowed all of this rule bending

We need to hope there is someone out there with money actually interested in Berwick speedway...unfortunately that does not sound too promising as their isn't a lot of people interested i Berwick speedway never mind people with coin

The only problem is even if the BBSC and the 2012 group helped I can't see what it's actually going to do, they need to find someone willing to put a lot more money than them 2 supporters groups have to put in to it

I'm sure that if the club went back to the Supporters Club and asked to settle their differences over a meeting then it would happen, at the end of the day everybody just wants the same goal and that is to see speedway at Shielfield park on a Saturday night

Any lawyers out there want to take on Terry Lindon's case?? We can battle Glasgow next year with Lindon and Barrie against the Facenna's I would say the same but their is no northern NL teams so may not be as benificial as it was for Eastbourne and Birmingham

Well do you think all of the riders knew? I'm almost certain that they had no clue that they were trying to sell, John and Ryan told me in April that they wanted out and wanted to sell so why have they left it this late to openly say so

I have to agree with Shadders imo it's going to be new owners or shutdown, hope it's the first one of those and if not then I will definately go NL, I personally prefer the NL to the EL as you get to see young Brits trying it out in the sport instead of watching people like Matej Zagar not try for Belle Vue. I also think Taffy's point of 2 leagues split by how fonancially stable the club is is a brilliant idea Lets all have our fingers crossed that someone throws some money at it then, John has put his cards on the table here and fair play for that statement

NL would work if say scunny and like another more nortern team such as worky or a glasgow second team or edinburgh went down as well but Berwick going down on their own won't work imo

I've heard there has been a couple of offers for it, John and Ryan told me that they were selling it but they havn't made it public, if they are its probably time they did to give someone a chance to buy it

I'd miss it terribly but realistically it seems to be the end which is too hard to think about, I hope they try and sell rather than put it in to the ground
