Dany Gapp has an average over 5.5 people... We are wasting 5.5 points away from home every meeting because of him

Shocking from Gappmaier, bad weekend from Etheridge and an unusually poor night from Jakobsen, I would be getting rid of Gappmaier and if the right rider was available would drop Etheridge too

Everyone on here knows how much I have criticised our away performances in past years but come on? We had no chance at Eastbourne and even less so when our most experienced rider had to be replaced by 2 riders who had never seen the track before and 2 u18 2 point reserves. I’ve been to every away meeting up until tonight and can safely say we have been much improved, only problem has been Gappmaier but he done respectably at Glasgow and very well at Sheffield when some of our other riders struggled. We have won at Newcastle and scored 44 at Sheffield and Edinburgh in our first 4 away meetings, that’s better than any start to a season for at least 10/15 years.

Was meant to be last night but got rearranged for tonight because of championship shield last night.

Comfortable home win, although I said that twice last week with Berwick and we took Sheffield to heat 15 both meetings

Main reason I take or leave home meetings is the racing, not the price, if I have any other potential plans they take priority over the speedway, although I’d never be sat in the house if it was on.

Well for a start he’s been better than Chessell, Phillips, Bailey, Atkins, Rowe, Thomsen and arguably a good few more, well done Luke, keep it up

Not really, you cannot put Luke Chessell in the same bracket as Leon Flint and Tom Brennan who are getting 7+ points in some meetings.

Looks like he was struggling to beat Leon and Shanes last season so I doubt he’ll suddenly have the beating of Zach and Ulrich? Although will be happily proved wrong tomorrow Danny! Do the business Mr Entertainer. I think it will be a very close meeting, depending on how well Ellis does then I think Berwick might just sneak it but if Ellis performs like he did last night then Birmingham might have their first win! Prediction is 44-46

Because that’s his Premiership average after conversion? Makes sense to me? Why didn’t you guys sign him in the first place? He would of been a better signing than any of the riders in your team? And wasn’t on a high average.

How would it be the same number of meetings? Surely Somerset in a group of 3 having 4 meetings finding themselves in a group of 6 having 10 meetings is more than 1 extra meeting?

What is the easy way? It’s a group stage of a tournament with 11 teams in it?
