  1. I actually enjoyed the two day World Final (I would say that being a Hans Nielsen fan!) as it made a weekend of it.
  2. Yes that was the line up and we saw some great action. Each rider pitched in...was a shame that Lukas was involved in a crash at King's Lynn when in collision with a desperate Peter Karlsson as he was on fire prior to that. Not sure if we were the first team to wear matching race suits (can't recall when they first came in?) all I remember was team colours of purple (my least favourite colour) and yellow.
  3. I've travelled that road many, many time and although having been to Cleveland Park I often look down and try and work out where it once was.
  4. Should have known that seeing that he saw his career out as a "Cheetah" although injury had really affected him by then...he suffered with reoccurring collarbone trouble if I recall.
  5. I'm thinking either Hans Andersen or Niels Kristain Iversen but I know I'm wrong?
  6. Obviously Danish...wild card I'm guessing? Struggling with this one!
  7. I didn't think so...a clue please? Tomasz Gollob?
  8. I think that introducing a 20mph speed restriction in all built up areas is pure nonsense but that's just my personal opinion.
  9. Proper photography. I did a GCSE Photography Course at college and was taught dark room procedures developing and enhancing images etc...forgotten it all now!
  10. Nice photo...my uncle was the Oxford track photographer back in 1974 - 77. In fact he's had a few books published.
  11. That's the one...I think I used to have a copy?
  12. Is this a trick question or was it you by any chance?
  13. I did see him ride but his record was very non-descript (infact I think he failed to score a single point?) and he didn't last long...a couple of matches?
  14. The "Gulf" race jacket dates it from 1975 onwards...I'm tempted to suggest Edgar Stangeland but my guess would be the Swedish/Pol Jerzy Trzeszkowski?
  15. Too tall for "Killer". I would agree with Soren Karlsson.
  16. Thanks for that...would have been there during my visits in that case. Must have been totally immersed in the racing to have noticed!
  17. Are those structures relatively new as I don't recall them on visits to Berwick?
