  1. From another thread, it could be concussion, and no broken bones. Either way i think you will be right with why we won't see him last a season, or indeed not start at all. I wish him all the best.
  2. Kildemand high speed crash in Denmark tonight- Broken arm and collarbone is the reported injuries. Will be out for some time. All the best to Killer, hope he recovers well. Were Fuc*ed again
  3. I thought Killer was a big risk when he was announced. I couldn't see him lasting a season. Thing is look at Bridger last season. Anyone can talk and tell you what you want to hear. I think NKI's 28 days runs out around Monday . So we shall see. I hope i'm wrong and we get a season out of Killer. If not it could be a tricky season ahead if we can't replace him with a decent rider instead of other teams cast offs/ do not wants, like last season.
  4. Really looking forward to his one, after the Stars win at the Showground. I take it Basso is back, and no MPT, is that right? If Basso is back and the Panthers cover well for MPT i think it will be pretty close. 48-42. Thoughts..
  5. Just home. Missed Lawson over 7. A gift if you ask me Gone Wolves -10 over BV Good luck
  6. Stars are 8 points up after HT 10. So you might be right. MPT is injured and withdrawn. Hope it's nothing serious and he's back in the saddle asap.
  7. I'll go 48- 42 to the Panthers. I would of gone wider, but no Basso.
  8. Would normally be a Poole thing.. Oh wait a minute...
  9. Plenty of Star's riders in action for their Camp clubs yesterday. Richie 4 from 4 rides Jack 4 from 4 Richard 13+2 from 5 (let Ben Cook through on the run in to the line in 2 races) Josh 14 from 5 Lewi 15 from 5 Not to long to wait now for our first meeting
  10. Very sad. Thoughts are with Nigel's family and friends.
  11. NKI can't do a season he has said, and is on a 28 day thing. I think it runs out sometime in the last week of April. Killer is riding in Poland now, so fit. So could be back for the Ippo meeting on the 25th i think.
  12. Now now Blu. no need for that. But I don't mind a bit of tractor racing during an meeting . That's not me btw
  13. 7 miles from track. It's been blowing a gale here all morning, and has just started to rain lightly (12.30 pm).
  14. I see what your saying Sid. I went for the short answer in my earlier post. i'll try and explain. My disposable income looks likely to be less this year, as things are going up all over the place. Our heating oil has doubled since last year for example.. Now £1000 to fill it at the moment, also fuel etc.. With there being 3 more meetings this season at the AFA than last, making it 15, i have agreed to attend 10, if things stay as they are now. I'm hoping to squeeze another one in at then end of the season if we get a play off place. We shall see on that one. So with most meetings spread out , i'll probably miss one of the 2 within 4 days of each other now, as they are so close together, where as i would normally do Ippo and Boro, i may miss one of them now. if i was going to all the meetings, i would agree with your comment. But as things stand i can't.
  15. Yeah. I like my beer I usually have 3 pints watching the riders in the pits between 6.30 to 7.30.Then 5 during the meeting.
  16. £20 entry, £10 for my son to drop me off at 6.30, and pick me up around 9.30. 8 pints at £4.80 each.
  17. I doubt if i'll go to both that close together. With getting in, my beer and paying my son to drop me off and p[ick me up costs me 70 quid a meeting.
  18. Lewis Kerr's testimonial. Local paper said close to 2,000. That looked about right to me.
  19. KING’S Lynn have reluctantly decided to make an early decision to postpone Thursday’s meeting with Ipswich. This is due to inclement weather with rain expected along with strong winds. The club have arranged a new date of Monday April 25 for the meeting which is a League Cup tie.All tickets purchased in advance remain valid for any other meeting at the Adrian Flux Arena. The postponement means the opening Minors and Brady Stars home meeting of the season will now be Thursday April 21 against Peterborough, also in the League Cup.The club hopes this early decision minimises inconvenience for all concerned.
