  1. I listed Erik in my team. I think he can put something on his average. I agree , coming out of bend 4, he looks the dogs. However I can see where you are coming from to a degree. Re: Not the quickest... It might be just me, but as good as he looks, I think he might be scrubbing a little speed off the way he turns the bike. Maybe be a bit to hard? It looks great, but is it the fastest way round?. He is no light weight either. Not fat but deffo likes the weights. Muscle is heavy. I'd be happy with him back, and wouldn't of mentioned it if it wasn't brought up
  2. I don't think Ford will drop down. It's AGM time soon and he is probably doing it to get something to go in his/Poole's favour.
  3. Looking for a team place maybe #optionsopen
  4. No thanks The Stars won nothing away from home this season. We have had to many riders not doing it away from home
  5. Were you a politician in a former life. Back tracking at it's worst there
  6. By stating that you won't watch Poole if the drop down, you have shown what type of supporter your are, and will cop some flack whether they go down or not. If it was posted for a reaction, then it worked. If it was genuine then your not as Poole through and through as you like to make out. Either way people are going to react.
  7. I would have him back for 2020. My 1st 3 would be Lambo Wright Riss
  8. I think it was a case of this meeting will start if at all possible. Adams said at about 7.40 something like "There will be racing" . The pressure was on, what with BT there, and time running out. When I saw the track staff brushing the water of the track with brooms, I though "no way". Fair play to the riders. Mr Becker showed some balls.. It was a shame because it disadvantaged Wolves. But all the riders came through it, and there is another 15 heats to go. I have no preference out of the 2 teams, as to who gets to the final, but think Wolves a due are bit of luck in the 2nd leg, or the same advantage the Robins got tonight, with the track not being as they are used to.
  9. But your are Poole through and through, ain't you? Seems not.. So what you are saying is you don't give a crap about Poole really, you just like the glory they have given you as a supporter over the years. Shocking It's a good job you don't live in King's Lynn lol.
  10. It's the Ford way. Obviously it will be in the interest of the sport to have Poole at the top of the tree. When Poole travel away from home, it always brings the biggest crowd of the season to all the home teams meetings. Didn't you know this Baldy
  11. Blimey.... That's a true fan if ever I saw one..
  12. Or trying not to let the value go down to nothing? Who knows.
  13. Spent it/ invested it, who knows. But up to him at the end of the day, I guess. I think Matt has been good for Poole as long as he was making money out of the club, which is fine, but maybe don't bleed Poole like some thought ? No ££, no Matt maybe. Oh and I had to Google avarice
  14. It's Ippo then . Rules.... What are they in Speedway Looking forward to watching some speedway tonight, at last. Hoping to see some good racing with all riders keeping fit for the return. As for a score.. TBH i'm not sure. Wolves will need 10+ I think. Not sure they will get that tonight though.
  15. I wouldn't want him to buy it. Lynn will suffer again I fear. Matt who previously banged his chest against one league for years, might well want it now. I don't think he could bear it if he wasn't in the top league, hence the need for one big one now, in the interests of the sport Poole of course. Just imho. If like people say, he runs it as a business, he must of been raking in it in for years with all that Sky money and the great sponsors Poole have been lucky enough to have had over the years.. Now might be a time to put a little back for all the loyal fans that have supported them/him so well in the good years, and still do today ?
  16. You would of thought they would of had a gap for it before now. They dumped their agreed staging of the British Youth Championship, maybe they could of fitted a meeting in it's place maybe ? The Stars ...….. Lambo RR, Aarino, Riss, Scotty, Cookie, Kerr, Ostergaard 60-30. Poor crowd and big points money. Far cry from a play off final bumper crowd.
  17. Unless you know what goes on behind the scenes, it's pretty hard to judge. One that appears good on the surface could be a t**t behind the scenes.
