  1. They might rise a bit, but the cost is very high. Won't work. Things have moved on, and there is so much for the young ones to do these days. Sadly there is no quick fix, if there is one at all.
  2. I think I saw Poole Keith in the crowd. Honest fan. Maybe he can shed some light when he's on.
  3. Whats it worth. Rented track, not much equipment, no shale( not cheap) Loosing big money (so ford says). His half a million asking price seems a joke
  4. Found it. Was a mistake. When I quote someone and reply, my desktop pc starts the reply by replacing the quoted post. I have to do it twice to reply properly. I must of missed this one. Sorry
  5. Kelv made more than a few digs at the track tonight. Lets see if the latest "major track work will take place" works, and if it eventually happens, I hope it works for UK speedways sake.
  6. You can't the knock Poole riders efforts. Just the promotion for the track £££
  7. Are the 90's ok on the feet for few hours while at the speedway Baldy Oh yeah, i'm a hoody type of bloke as well. I where F&F. Wash well if the meetings messy. Mind you there not in the Hollister class. Black is best imho.
  8. I only thought they made canvas. I'll look into it Baldy
  9. I can't do them trainer socks. They always feel like they are falling off my feet .Bloody nightmare. Its Primark regular socks for me, but only in black.
  10. I wear the Old Reebok classics. Although they are a bit hot in the summer, I sometimes chuck them on if popping out on my motorbike. The trouble with canvas ones is that changing gear ruins them. I was looking at a pair of Munt Jacks for days out with the family though. They look nice, but are dear.
  11. Agree. You get 3 or4 good races in most meetings. Sadly you could have your next meeting at £10 and get a few in, next week a bit less and the 3rd week the same. There's much more that the younger generation would rather be doing. It's the sign of the times. I don't think it can be fixed as a pro sport in the UK
  12. It was a GP, and you expect tough racing. Leaving very little room, but not barging a rider into the fence.
