  1. Lawson and Niels seemed to have dropped off a little this season, But they have the best away averages this season. At 42 and 39, it will happen at some point. Agree it's frustrating seeing these 3's and 4's. Mr Grumpys back. In 2023 didn't Buster bring in Tarasenko, Wojdylo, and Laguta in for PB in July/August. You were rock bottom, and went on a winning streak, overtaking Lynn by 11 points, and handing us the wooden spoon. He could though sod it, i'll plod for the last few months. Could he not??
  2. There's a rumour going around, that Hawkins has been given his own parking space at the AFA..
  3. Picko's averaging 10.62 at home, so with C. Holder, Row, Kerr and Sedgy taking his rides is a big loss. But with the Holders probably getting 11 rides between them, i think a lack of race wins will be the Stars downfall. I know they will ride together in 2/3 races, but in those they could well get a few 5-1's. If Niels can find some speed, and Kerr does't have a stonker, i'd go with 50-40
  4. What a thought.. I make NKI and Cook 12.87 (6.74. 6.13). Cook and Klindt 12.50 (6.13 . 6.37). Unless I'm confused, which is highly likely 😃. Still enough to avoid a 3 pointer though if I'm right.👍
  5. My memory ain't what it was, so i could be wrong, but i think when it happened to Lynn, it was 75% of the riders average is used for guest or RR rides, which would be 5.50 in this case. Would that make sense anyone? No doubt someone will be along with the right answer in due course.
  6. Doyle will get more than the 5 points RR got for him 2 weeks ago, and i doubt Bomber and Kvech will bag 29 between them again. I hope Lawson is ok after pulling out of a polish meeting over the weekend. I'm sure the Stars will give it their all, and i hope i'm wrong, but i think Ippo edge this one 43-47.
  7. Richard will ride if he can. If not we have 7.10 inc home 5% for a guest. Would be Magic for me, but doubt he would want it. I think your right Baggy. That rings a bell.
  8. I make it we would have 7.53 to replace him at the moment. But easier said than done of course. I think your right, 75%
  9. It is disappointing, but the injury is one of those things. Whether he comes back is another thing altogether. He came in as a 7 pointer (6.99), averaged 3.20 in his 4 meetings, and guests or RR has averaged 6.00 from 5 meetings. So combined under 5.. That's over a 2 point loss overall on his starting Ave. We don't seen to get much luck.
  10. That don't look like a rider that struggled at all. I'll welcome him back tomorrow😃
  11. Id imagine the money is different . The cynic in me thinks it might end up the same as Tobi did. I know Tobi always said he wanted to come back, and that wasn't the case, but if Bens Polish team flex their muscles, it might end going the same way.
  12. Wasn’t there a few 6 pointers in the Stars team, that did rather well?. No chance of winning, you said ⭐️⭐️⭐️
  13. That's fine, but i think it would pee me off if i thought he wouldn't give something back to the fans if necessary though.. Good job most don't seem to think the same. Someone on here did say Matt is like Marmite. I certainly agree with that Nice to see Lewi seems to be on the up btw.
  14. Going by the crowds reported, and the best riders will attract more of them. Add the that the apparent pull Poole has for riders, the only reason i can see is that Matt Ford does what's best for Matt Ford. He must think he can make more profit riding in the Champ, and he might be right. Would be nice if he gave his loyal fans a treat though. I know i'll get Poole fans going on about race nights etc etc. They are very loyal to Ford, and that's fine. But i'm sure most would love the Prem, and the chance to have some top riders in their team. You never know when Brum drop out, he might make up the numbers, but i'm not holding my breath... Just my own opinion of course..
  15. I heard Luke/ him team, said that he ain't ready for this level yet. But will come in and do some meetings. I can't remember who bloody told me now, so wouldn't take it as gospel.
  16. I just had a look. I didn't realise how bad they both have been so far. The pair started on 14.73 between them, and have averaged 9.69 so far. Kildermand at reserve is handy for them. On the other hand, Howarth bagged 8 from 4 there for Leicester earlier in the season, and looked pretty good in Mondays meeting. If Nicolai has his gating gloves on, and Howarth can chip in with 6 or so, plus heats 13 and 15 won't be as tough as most places think we could get over the line. Oxford 44 Stars 46
