I remember when Coventry had a collection for Ryan Fisher I think in2013 and the total was announced . A few days later Horton had a collection at Peterborough. Being a fan of his all action style I contributed a fiver no problem. As far as I am aware no announcement was ever mentioned of how much was actually collected that night at the showground or if he ever received it there was no thank you thank mentioned for the generosity of the fans mentioned anywhere as far as I know which makes me wonder if he did ever get the collection money from that night. You would have at least to expect a total and just a little appreciation to be shown but there was nothing ever mentioned. My first thoughts when he came in at Coventry was how long before they are in financial trouble . We were lucky at Peterborough that he did balls up As now we are a financially sound run club from promoter to supporters club and fans with a lot more willingness from all since his departure.

But no atmosphere at all, and if we all took that attitude there would be no speedway to watch .

Getting his average down for a return to Edinburgh in 2018 I suppose.

So what have you achieved in life apart from being an over-reactive attention seeker. No need to insult you as your doing a perfectly good job of it yourself.

And compared to the late Dave Lanning at Eastbourne he's definitely second class when it comes down to throwing insults at the opposition now there was a personality who could really stir supporters up. -
And I echo your statement I think also like you he's he could very well be a future England manager
-
He isn't getting sacked they have given him a vote of confidence and rightly so , do try and keep up. There's more chance of Eddie Howe getting the bullet at Bournemouth.

Time will tell if he's a man of his word or not.

No, more like the sequel to Morcambe and wise = Slowcome and Rush -
It's a worldwide event so they come from all over the world, so what , the majority are British.
-
And everybody has the same choice to go or not go , but I will say for those that dismiss it and never been you will be missing a great day out with an electric atmosphere both in and out of the stadium , the town centre is alive and absolutely buzzing with speedway fans from all over as well as trade stands and other things to keep people amused added to a very well organised park and ride system which you are guided to via the M4 motorway towards Cardiff. It's a great day out.

And pigs will fly.

I really feel for you Bees fans , things are not going smoothly behind the scenes obviously, nothing has started to be done to put the stadium in order as far as I am aware of as yet and it makes me wonder about the promises that have been made if they will ever get started on, it seems to me that they are stalling thinking oh well the've got somewhere to race what's the hurry why should we bother. I hope i'm wrong and soon you will be able to race at Brandon again but with everything that has been happening behind the scenes and the motives that are involved I really have my doubts but I wish all your fans the best and keep my fingers crossed for you that it all works out.

Why should Coventry get a cheap rental deal off Leicester , is shale , fence panels and air fence repair so much cheaper in Leicester that they can afford to rent out the stadium at bargain cut prices. If Coventry speedway want to rent the stadium then they should pay a fair price for it. The deal is being done to assist Coventry and Leicester are not a charity shop.
-
Or as promised (on Friday ) mind i'm not quite sure which Friday , I suppose it could be tomorrow as tomorrow never comes.
-
I think promoters would be more worried about the 30 pieces of silver they wouldn't be getting rather than the tv appearances they would lose .
-
If that's the case , we managed without it before and now we'll have to learn how to do it again
-
Then it's time for the Leicester supporters club and all there fans to get together and try and raise the money for the lease . Peterborough supporters did when Horton left Panthers in a mess and we are now in safe hands with Ged Rathbone top man and promoter and a thriving supporters club . Come on you Lions fans i'm sure you can do it, and it's better than the alternative.
-
If it's Horton Leicester supporters have my sympathy, a new start towards the beginning of the end. Better hope it's Darcy as it has been agreed he should be running the show and should it be a joint partnership I could see Darcy getting pushed aside into the background and that in itself is a recipe for disaster.

Somebody who wouldn't try to borrow the air fence and forget about returning it would be a good start.

I like to watch top class riders as well but I don't go around knocking those who are trying to cut a groove in the sport by calling them (wobblers) Unlike a few on here who act like Premiership snobs
-
I don't suppose it ever occurred to you that they were also (wobblers)at one stage in there careers . I scanned your profile and over 8 thousand posts you are listed as having only 136 as excellent says all I need to know.
-
And it would have been central, having a national stadium in the north of England is a stupid idea . BSPA might as well have declared all stadiums as national stadiums and they could have all had a share out of the BSPA coffers just like Belle Vue have done.

Did you know it's no , not know you know
