everybody was scanned at the old grandstand entrance,re other tracks im not sure as this security procedure was instigated by stadia uk not the speedway promotion(tho matt ford will be invoiced for all costs)edit i live 10miles from poole so no i did not vote in poole

does anyone know of any other venues in poole, cinema,theatre etc that are body searching every customer and using metal detectors to screeen everyone or is it just at the stadium??cant believe the police would instruct just one business to do this and not others(was there extra security at poole polling stations today??)

the darcy ward meeting done immence damage to the image of poole speedway,you cant turn people over and not suffer the consequences,at the grasstrack on sunday i was wearing my poole cap and several people came up to me saying they went to that meeting but have not been since.however the terrible dust problems would certainly have deterred casual punters and the threat of rain at a few meetings hasnt helped,and the new procedure for entering the stadium will further deter some,but crowds are certainly low

there are always many different views in sport but if i was an aces fan id be saying bring on this weakened team lets get 3 pts which could be vital at the end of the season,as 3pts for poole tonite could be.

what these people are trying to explain to you is that if klindt is in the top 5 matt wont be allowed to get a guest for him

great value at a tenner hope its really well supported,paid £18 pound at wimborne grasstrack yesterday(no oap discount grrr) believe the high admission price was a big factor on the very poor turnout

probably about right,though winning big away is not pooles style!most team managers are probably thinking that if at the moment they come away from leicester with nothing its points dropped

you can add me to your list gavan,was very happy when poole team was announced and definitely thought kk would be excellent no1 in this yrs league,and like fb i think he still might be!!,starmans not the brightest and neither reads properly or makes any attempt to understand other fans posts.

starman would have absolutely no knowledge of the finances of poole speedway,hes a volunteer who helps with various track tasks on racenight,for which im sure the promoters are appreciative but not involved in any other way with the promoters(thank god!)

i do agree bpb obviously posters are allowed their opinion,if kelvin tatum says a young rider should sit more forward,sit further back,change his head position etc etc thats fine,but how many of us fans on this forum have the foggiest idea of how to ride a speedway bike,let alone give tips??that was my point

the table i was on all thought wells as rr in ht 1 was odd ,should have been perks we thought??

i dont think its appropriate (and possibly a little risky!!)to call fellow poole fans "idiots" for watching the speedway from where they choose.ps no dust in the restaurant

you cant keep blaming matt ford starman im sure shanes will appreciate your riding tips,i suppose you learnt all this during your riding days

with wells and the two reserves taking the rr rides doesnt that weaken rye

correct lisa i was told only 1200 for swindon,odd time of day but im pretty confident the reason for this yrs low crowds is twofold, firstly darcys meeting done immense damage to customer confidence and secondly the dust levels have deterred many spectators from coming back(diehards excluded) still soon as the holidaymakers arrive with their bulging pockets of cash and kids to keep happy the place will be rammed

with the size of crowds so far this season he will have to consider options!

ask matt his door is always open(except when were racing in a duststorm then he has to shut it)

would have thought it was one of the driest aprils on record hence the horrendous dust problems.

how about kk scores a maximum on wed on a new engine and the team stays the same??(would be happy with kerr or newman no problem, but its probably inevitable matt will stick with local lad kyle and very happy with that)

cant knock it, the online ticketing has to be a good thing,promotion just need to put a statement on the club website clarifying some of the uncertainties raised on this forum
