Have you ever a good thing to say about Edinburgh? No thought not. A good number from Edinburgh off to Poland for the GP, all booked before the fixture was arranged. -

Hope you people in the 'Cancel Culture' don't do anything wrong or you might end up with people trying to cancel you.

He can only get one meeting per month/league at each track, unless changed due to there being less meetings this year, and being a 'local' referee. Willie Dishington was due as referee at Edinburgh v Glasgow that was rained off, local referee again. The fee for a local referee is less than those from a distance away so sensible to use local referee for first fixture of season to help club cash flow.

Leicester vs King’s Lynn - Thursday 21st March
edmon replied to SuperStarsFan91's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Did the Start Marshal get into trouble? Genuine Question. I seem to recollect an incident of this sort a number of years back at Workington where, if I'm correct, the referee through him out of the meeting -

May have been a good idea to give the punters cancellation information in advance. Some of us ARE interested in NJL. -
You refer to the phrase 'a BSP Ltd registered transponder' There is nothing to say that they HAVE to be fitted or where and how fitted on a machine. This needs to be defined so that everyone is equal.
-
With BSPL having spent a large five figure sum on transponders last year they are missing from the rule book this year. This begs the question whether they will be used this year or has money been squandered? Is it just an error which will be rectified by a supplementary regulation?

Is the Armadale visit to Workington on 29th June in doubt already with the Championship meeting scheduled that day being moved? -

Pre Sale at a set venue wouldn't help travelling supporters who live hours away. -
Hopefully we will get a better indication of the rules for the league and a FIXTURE LIST this year.

What is the National League Riders’ Development Series? Is it separate from the Youth Series and if so when will we some details on where and when it will take place?

1 - 1.5 hours by bus.

Leicester’s new training track
edmon replied to Honey Monster's topic in Youth Speedway and Development Leagues
Good to see Leicester following Edinburgh's lead in building a track on the centre green. Believe Glasgow are also to put one in. -
Was at the Joe Owen Benefit meeting, Ellesmere Port Past & Present v Inter League Select which ended up a 39 - 39 draw, Boxing Day 1985. This was to be the last meeting at Ellesmere.

Unfortunately its return to school for U16 kids in parts of Scotlland.

Is there a reason the Tigers don't pass the names pn to the British Speedway Press Office? Its not as if people don't know who they have signed.
-
Got to agree. He should be leading the way so I'm assuming he was one of those who were not keen to go down the development road.
-
Expecting announcement of first signing on Friday. According to Alex Harkess at video night.
-
I would take him back for the no5 racejacket. He is an exciting rider to watch with his chasing and sweeps around the outside line but as a No1 not for me.
