  1. On 14th the Referee closed the meeting at 5.55. That was after NDL (15 races), MDL (6) and Demo races (3)
  2. Where did you get that? The referee consulted the video and from that decided that Dan was the cause of Dayle hitting the fence. At NO time did the referee give all 4 back.
  3. Note in the British Speedway article YOUNGSTERS CHASE HARBOUR TITLE that Poole can't decide if Charlie Southwick is male or female 🤔 "...... young Charlie Southwick is certainly a local lad who is absolutely going in the right direction as we saw her recently when he guested for us"
  4. No the issue is there is NO water in the base. Superficial watering is no good.
  5. Laurence Rogers has been about speedway long enough to get a grip on these things before they happen.
  6. Clearly the forecast that the Referee was seeing. Wonder if the shows in the carpark and injuries are the real reasons. Referee in Berwick from yesterday as he was officiating at Armadale last night
  7. He has never been a referee. He did say it was difficult to attribute fault. The referee looked at the video evidence and made his decision which he explained to Stewart Dickson. If it had happened on the bend I'm sure the referee would have invited all four back but as it was on the straight he had to attribute fault.
  8. Check out Lydd Speedway Facebook.
  9. It is no longer an abattoir. It is a meat and fish wholesale supplier.
  10. You'll know about that probably having used them during the winter. A Scotsman looking after the money 🥸
  11. Stene Pijper, Liam Greens (500cc) Ella & Douglas Marshall (125cc)
  12. As I believe were fences at two other Premiership tracks (which were reported to the SCB - with no action being taken)
  13. Is this not the football stadium they are talking about, with the debt having now been paid.
  14. There was some publicity on STV for the first leg of the Play Off Semi Final at Edinburgh. Glasgow didn't build on it. Personal contact seems to work.
  15. The Edinburgh Riders and Management failed to see the preparation between heats 14 and 15 extended break with the outside being tyre packed and the inside being graded. Glasgow riders knew where to go.
  16. Believe for a number of heats which produced a Workington rider winning, times from a stopwatch had to be used.
  17. Looking at the referees score card I see that all times are recorded to the nearest tenth of a second. Does this mean that workington do not operate using transponders? Maybe the reason we had problems with Workington transponders being fitted wrongly on Friday night.
