Hoping they don't move the Armadale fixture towards the end of August as have a number of hotels booked for southern trip. Wolverhampton, Plymouth, Poole, Sheffield tour arranged.

Will never happen. A move to Shawfield in '96 almost bankrupted Edinburgh. Once bitten twice shy!

Gregor did have a bike and was struggling to get it started, as did Keith Maben who tried to help. Don't know if they succeeded. -

Only three devils riders got pass marks and not one was a Scot. Foot and A**e come to mind for the other three. Is the Team Manager too soft, one of the problems? -

That is a good question! Programme states Graham Trollope, Steve Robson, Terry Bolam, Lee Coates cover track maintenance. Licensed Track Curators are Rob Grant and Stephen Robson as listed on the SCB list of officials. -

Whilst I've some sympathy with you on this, Willie did a good job, when on Jacob's bike, of delaying the progress of Basso and Bailey in their chase of Kye, in heat 14, allowing him to pull away. -

West Lothian Wildcats 24 Armadale Angels 10 NJL Challenge Wildcats : Gregor Millar 9, Lewis Hague 8+1, Rocco Webb 7+2, Josh McPherson DNR Angels : Lewis Millar 6, Dean Douglas 2+2, Liam Maben 2, Zaak Gallacher 0 As this was only a challenge Gregor Millar's points stood but if in a league meeting Gregor's points would not count as he has a NDL average above 3.00 SR 014.2.3 -

Much of this must have been caused by the leniency of the referee. There should only be a maximum of four minutes between the end of a race and the start of the next.

Don't know if its shale from the Niddry Bing, Winchburgh, west of Edinburgh, which many tracks are now using. If it is I suspect the shale cost isn't too bad its most likely the transpost costs. -

Certainly was after a late change when Edinburgh were due to visit. Complained to Birmingham but LR said the change had nothing to do with him.

The SCB seem to have relented on two teams from one club taking part with the rebirth of Teesside Tigers at Redcar. Lets see if another club do the same. -
