Sidney the robin

We have a youth meeting coming to Swindon in a week or so also with Kent bringing a side down in another meeting.I have seen a few NL meeting's and Swindon had a few a couple of season's ago ( Danny Ayres great value and entertainment).It showed me it does not matter what level it is at speedway it can still be entertaining the NL has come along way in my opinion a good product in its own right.

He also did not ride Halfax that much over the years, but the Golden Helmet you mentioned i remember going to Poole on the Wednesday and he had bike issues. that night in the two runs with Shawn.That caused him to not turn up for the second leg if i remember rightly Eric Boocock was not being a happy Larry about it.

Was there when Michael did not show up for his Golden Helmet encounter with Shawn Moran he did ride in the test match against the yanks Third Man in 1983.!!!

Rerun videos would of filmed it Trees !!!! look it was not a classic by any means but the racing was really hard fought .The new track really has the potential to be a really good racetrack, unlike Poole who have holes in there track that would swallow up a elephant.

I really enjoyed tonight the track produced some really good racing a great night out.Batchelor was sublime tonight attacked the track and showed us what a class act he can be well Rasser what can you say about him a gutsy rider what a steal on a 4.51 average.Perks also impressed one race he gated with Batch I thought Batch would have to team ride him round no Ellis buzzed off and looked almighty quick.Augurs well for the Robins need to get the Zach replacement right but we should now be able to push on and make the playoffs.King's Lynn impressed me really gutsy side Lambert well i could watch that guy everyweek a class act he has such a racing brain for a young man.Lynn get Riss back replace Lambert at reserve they should be in the mix come the end of the season.again like Belle vue the other night Speedway was the winner again.

Can anyone help please could anyone give me the heat details and scores of these three matches please.I have the speedway stars in the loft but it will take an eternity to find them.

Not easy to do it , very competitive for places also you need to have a team and set up in place beforehand to be able to have a real good crack at it also it takes alot of finance.

Jensen 14 really? i will be happy if Rasmus scores 6 he does look a steal though he can have a real breakthrough year in the Premiership.

Loved Steve's time as a Robin and Wrighty ,would have both back at Swindon like a shot in the future at some stage.I. think Stevie is getting there with his form be great if he could get back to the level of his WTC form of a couple of years ago..

A very dangerous match for the budgies , if Lambert,Cook, Jorgensen score heavily we could be in trouble Musielak is a huge loss.I think with my bias head on the Budgies will win just narrowly but as Shocker says if R.Lambert really is on his a game we are in big trouble.Whatever happens it augurs well for the Stars, because with Cook signing Riss soon to back and they still have R.Lambert to pick up in the U.K a lot for the Stars fans to look forward to.

I moan just like you Mike but there are no easy answers ,speedway was the winner last night some great racing.I loved the old Hyde Rd my favourite ever track along with the Shay , but this track now is so exciting.God i am so envious lucky buggers the Vue fans good team great potential in the colts team (Palin etc) but eh oh they deserve it they had some tough years great club/ great track.

Be interesting to see if Ellis is out with his shoulder injury if young Anders Rowe gets a chance.Maybe he won't every point is vital and King's Lynn are a dangerous team just hope it is not a James Sarjeant type of guest.

I enjoyed the meeting, Ipswich put in a great effort they have really applied themselves well.Acef if the management had put the 10 pound offer on do you recon the crowd would be between 15/1600?? Swindon whoe's crowds hold up pretty well, would struggle to get a good crowd on TV night's without offers.An exception would maybe be only Poole TV meeting's should be ten pound's also then the diehard supporter is rewarded

Nobody has moaned about the GP series just saying it might need freshening up a bit.I would also say the old system was not the best but at least more riders had a shot at trying to fulfill there dreams that is not the case now.And what annoys me is that league racing certainly in the U.K was aloud to take the brunt of the series and over the years have not been compensated in monetary terms.

So are you telling me that Muller was not a world class speedway rider? when asked Mauger, Briggs,Collins( ect) they all say different were they all wrong.?

And he showed in 1983 on the day even in his own back yard that he could deal with pressure and win a World Final.For many rider's now that opportunity will never be there and as others have pointed out there are six/eight riders who will never win a series .None of us are saying the series is in a bad way it could be in danger of going stale and needs freshening up.Also is Muller qualifying for all those world finals all those years ago any different to some of these mediocre Countries we have in Football World cup's and average sides in European Now.?

Crap post Egon Muller would he have ever been in a top ever 16 to show us just how good he was.? Have you a short memory even Tai was lucky to be handed another chance in the series after his maiden effort and yes Robert has earned his chance on merit.

Stick at it Zach there is a good rider in there hope he comes back even stronger.

It is called a closed shop Bagpuss,i have said this for years Lambert has done great and he looks really at home in this environment he has had two great rounds.

For the future it is great to see Anders Rowe progressing by the week 17 points scored today.

Laguta would be a great pull as a wild card be great to see but we all know it will never happen.

Well that tells you one of the thing's that is wrong with the series.
