I don't think aj will be back not next year anyway so I would keep kim and ed and possibly rich (not a great season but can do better) we need two new heat leaders freshen things up a bit, big hitters if budget will allow. then reserves suppose down to the pick again and we wont have first pick this time as no wooden spoon. then if no Richard maybe scott Nichols 5 odd average might come into play?

Lakeside Vs Belle Vue, 21/9/16...
HAMMER180 replied to Ace no.5's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Tried to match Fridays track as they all went so well but a track after heavy rain and one after heavy watering not the same, all I can say is tried but failed.re zagar my boy was on the gate and zagar asked to come off cook told him no but my boy had to open the gate to let the mechanics on and he pushes himself through so self inflicted by the long streak of piss. as for lakeside we don't have the best of luck as apart from last year we are there or there about the playoffs and always have a run of injurys at the end of seasons and as we don't have matt fords deep pockets it is always going to be hard. but I still love and back my club 100% and as for Monday stranger things have happened COME ON YOU HAMMERS. PS heard something last night which could be fantastic for the years ahesd so keep the faith hammers fans. -

BREATH Now that's off my chest back to weds I personally would not want kk as he is as has been mentioned not a team rider when he rode for us a few years ago if he didn't make the start he would give up and poodle round or pull up and I know for a fact his mechanics then jacked it in as when they asked what was wrong with the bike after he had stopped he just said nothing missed the start cant be bothered to chase. As doyles average to high maybe NKI ? or if not then bomber at least you know you will get 100% and he has done ok round BV this season. yes of course but what the thread is about would help -

THIS IS A LAKESIDE V BV THREAD WHY DO POOLE SUPPORTERS HAVE TO KEEP BRINGING POOLE ISSUES INTO EVERYTHING F OFF TO YOUR OWN THREADS -
Looking at the weather for Friday we could be screwed anyway even if Swindon don't get a point tonite
-
Well looks like lakeside will be looking for a new no1 next season as looks to me by the comments on the website that the management are not to happy that aj has give all his equipment back to his sponsors hagon and handed his kelvars back. Be a shame if so as I like aj and there is nothing better than seeing him bomb round the outside at the raceway. Back to this year any thoughts who could be lined up in the 7 day transfer window if we make the playoffs?.

oh dear poole have a bit of competition for the first time in years and the panic button is pushed. change the team they are not good enough. they were till tai returned to wolves and also no rider can keep top form all season all have their up and downs. chiil and let the rest of us watch a evenly matched final for once. COME ON YOU WOLVES
-
well in mho we will have to get 4 points from either Coventry tonight or kings lynn in our last away fixture to realistically make it and of course 6 points from our last two home fixtures. even if we can get something from both aways it will proberly come down to winner takes all against Swindon in our last one.but failure to make the play offs by 1 or 2 points will be down to the farce which was losing to the patched up poole team a few weeks ago. plus a few untimely ILLNESSES at cruial awat legs.

Just like poole brought in hancock a few years back at the back end of the season short memory!!!!!!!

Lakeside-v- Belle Vue 5 Th August.
HAMMER180 replied to E I Addio's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Oh dear it gets worse no EK now its the same every year (except last) in the top four till 6 meetings left and it all goes ** up through injury or availability. Then whoever the team is who can get their full team out for the last 6/7 meetings make the playoffs. if we don't win tomorrow then it is defo all over for another year god I am getting bored. -
Woofy's Thoughts About The Team G.b. Set-up
HAMMER180 replied to uk_martin's topic in Speedway News and Discussions
Until our riders start racing in Poland Sweden or Denmark then I don't think we will really challenge for gold.the countries above and Australia all ride in all three or at least two every week and most over here too and all except woffy and scotty Nichols only get rides over here.so until they can and compete with the best week in week out then it just wont happen. The lower leagues in the 3 countries wont even have us Sweden looks like all swedes Denmark all danes and Poland all poles or aussies. We need the riders to get themselves in the shop window. -
Belle Vue V Lakeside Wed 3rd August
HAMMER180 replied to mdmc82's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
hopefully a point or 3 aj ed and lewis should do well with the big wide track and if Richard and kim can ride the inside line then should be ok down to reserves again I think -
did not sign ellis as he was already nailed on a poole and to be honest would not want him anyway as last year it was ride one fall off one..but saying that amazing how a few extra quid has made him a far better rider all planned long ago.Took a chance on kerr as can be as good as starke on his day but has not worked out and rob mear should have had a year in premier or national league before coming back
-
Same old same old either get too far behind at the start or fall away at the end and It looks as if its going to be the same as last year reserves just not good enough our no1 top scored and our middle order out scored pooles so down to reserve again POOLE 23 LAKESIDE 5 even if our reserves packed in 3rd places we would have got a point or even a win TIME FOR A CHANGE I FINKS

Lakeside Hammers V Wolverhampton Wolves - 1 June On Sky
HAMMER180 replied to TonyE's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
A few things how can anyone say lakeside is boring if you went every week then you would know there is always good racing and plenty of over taking, some riders don't like it because its to much like hard work they would rather try to gate and ride round un challenged for 4 boring laps like at most other tracks, as for the track yesterday it wasn't at its best but the amount of rain the day before I think Gerald and the boys did a great job as always Re the crowd always lower when on sky plus the weather the m25 buggered again and being half term some people are lucky enough to be on holiday. and as for jk what a tart slating the whole of lakeside didn't cry when we paid his wages for three odd years. COME ON YOU HAMMERS FEW MORE AWAY POINTS STARTING AT BV AND PLAYOFFS HERE WE COME. -
Tried so hard not to join the poole hate brigade but after all the poole poole poole on the thread for Fridays great meeting I have just read their report on the meeting all about them again not really a mention how well we rode just how well their riders did coming last oh dear please get your head out of your own a***.The last time I went to dorset was a few years ago just before lees tragic accident and we were leading all the way trough till a really dodgy exclusion for llung in heat 15 in a first bend incident saw holder and watt manage to pass lee for a 5-1 to win by 1 and after not a single mention of lakeside heroics on the night just what a surprise how great they were NEVER AGAIN COME ON YOU HAMMERS.
-
I was wondering about all the rain offs I think it must be to do with the belle vue GRAND OPENING FARCE teams are now worried about upsetting people that commit on the day only to find it is off. after the backlash of people rightly moaning about fuel and hotel bills etc. Lakeside are the only team to ride all their meetings so far. Regarding belle vues call off of todays meeting I reckon the tracks still not right that's why called off so readily with the iffy forecast.

HAMMER180 replied to Steve Shovlar's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Need to bounce back after the tonking on weds or heads will start to drop should get the win but will be close also feel last chance saloon for lewis bridger but hopefully he will come good. but I feel we should have eddie in tomorrow as he is not riding anywhere else what I can see as he is a good for a defo 6/8 points at home. COME ON YOU HAMMERS -

HAMMER180 replied to Bagpuss's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I went up to kl on Friday and I think you cannot say that was not enough commitment shown as all 7 tried there best I must admit up to heat 11 I thought here we go again we are going to collapse again but we came out fighting in 12-15 with 2 4-2s and 2 3-3s of which you look at it as example it was a playoff second leg we would have gone through +8 overall so stay positive.
