  1. If the lads can stay injury free, I can see scunny in the top 6 playoffs.... but knowing the luck of the scorpion, an injury free season is very wishful thinking
  2. Promoters dont get a say in Track of the year, its judged on ref's doing their track walks.... having said that, been to a fair few tracks this year at Champ level and not being biased but Scunny has produced some top notch racing this season
  3. boring???? i've seen a lot of speedway at a lot of tracks, and scunny's better than all bar BV... loyalty isn't a bad thing, as Rob said to me, would we rather have a loyal team and be able to run year after year, or have a team that'll win everything, and well... end up like Worky
  4. Danny not exciting? Wrong Danny mate, Our one and only Ayresey is the most exciting rider in the league.. Like the look of the team, if we can stay injury free (pretty please) then I cant see why we cant be in the top 6 playoffs
  5. Aarnio and Ayres, more of a personal note not a fan of howarth.. Kinsley was impressive this year, but wouldn't have him back with Jordan (had we not committed to Jordan, Ryan would have been my no 1 selection) and Stef I personally think has let us down a couple too many times this season
  6. Me matey, having heard 'rumors' from top people... we won't be too bad.. top 6 finish and a playoff place for us I reckon
  7. The team wont be as bas as peoples making it out to be
  8. Just premiership and championship... BT will still cover GPs and SON
  9. MASSIVE CONGRATS to Danny Ayres, 2019 Scorpion of the year, HAS to be back in 2020
  10. rumoured where please? think you may be dissapointed
  11. Normally me the lunatic but happy to give the cap
  12. Having watched JP, week in week out at amateur meetings, practice sessions, he's certainly mastered the Scunthorpe track, and I think he will be okay at home, Im not too sure on his experience on other Championship tracks, but with hopefully a older, more experienced reserve to help him, he should be ok.
  13. At first I didn't like the look of that team, but having had a long thought about it, I dont reckon it'll be as bad as people are making it out to be.. Auty wont be number 1 after a month, Danny will only improve, Jake is number 1 quality and Simon will mentor Jordie.. Tero had a really good 2019 and feel like he can kick on in 2020, just which TJ would we get
  14. Gunna miss the Sheff-Scunny derbys, was the highlight of seasons past... Glad to see the club not up for sale, and will make a trip or two to see Sheff in the top flight (preferably against BV)
  15. Me and a mate that went to Leicester on Sat thoroughly enjoyed the meeting, plenty of drama, a packed stadium with 2 sets of loud adoring fans (you guys are a credit to Speedway) May the best team win tomorrow night
  16. Rasmus Jensen, really delivered for both Swindon and Glasgow this year Danny Ayres, Signing of the season at Scunny, really kicked on this year earning guest bookings in the top flight Ryan Douglas, Did a very solid job for Wolves coming in mid season Jaimon Lidsey, Had an exceptional season, went to go watch him at BV once or twice and was untouchable Charles Wright, Number 1 in both leagues, british champ and peformed well in the GP
  17. With Rob promising some 'surprises' in the team.. (with hopefully the average limit being 42 - if my maths are right this team would fit) Schlein 8.69 Ayres 5.51 Allen 7.26 Perks 6.40 Garrity 7.23 Nicol 5.16 Palin 2.00 Tot 41.85
  18. Scunny Rider of the season - Danny Ayres Most Impressive against us - Ellis Perks/Anders Rowe Most Surprising - Cameron Heeps
  19. Have your Pontus Gaard at Sheffield, along with David Speight
  20. Not forgetting David Speight as your number 1
